Wow, this show has officially tanked. pure garbage. I don't understand how this keeps airing.

DanHibiki 11-18-2012 07:15 PM

Erin is pretty funny when she's not a story focal point.

Dwight's smiling/nodding last episode was fucking hilarious

SkinnyPupp 04-12-2013 09:47 AM

Last episode was hilarious!

ilvtofu 04-12-2013 10:01 AM

My thoughts exactly! the one just before this was terrible and I was thinking man this show really has gone downhill, this one brought it back for me :)

wstce92 04-26-2013 01:54 AM

I really hate Pam now though. Used to love her.
But fuck woman, Jim's trying to take your family to the next level financially, for you and your kids' futures.
Do you really have to be such a bitch.

Frankly the rest of the season can be shit so long as Michael makes an appearance in the final episode.

The official description is that old and current characters alike come together for a wedding, so I'm vaguely optimistic that the series finale will be what I hope it is!

:fullofwin:

rsx 04-26-2013 11:29 AM

I hate Pam. She's a cunt. Jim has a real career and he's actually trying to make real money. Fuck I hope Jim gets with that hot chick that wanted to bang him. This show was gone VVVvvvvt down hill /kramer.

SpartanAir 04-26-2013 01:28 PM

Yup, the actress who plays Erin is probably the funniest woman on television. Her comedic timing is genius.

I still like the show, but it does seem to be fizzling out. It's coming to a natural end for sure.

There may be a spinoff called "The Farm" with Dwight and his family, I auditioned for it. People like Dwight enough so it could work out.

^ that's what they said for Joey after friends and it died after 1 season, not 3 eposide, but 1 season...

Lomac 04-26-2013 02:46 PM

The Farm project is dead already.

Oh, the intern/temp! I forgot about her! :lol

bcrdukes 05-05-2013 11:17 AM

The latest episode was pretty good.

SkinnyPupp 05-05-2013 07:06 PM

They have all been pretty good... but that's a big step down from what it used to be.. I can remember my wife knew I was watching the office every week, because I would be laughing out loud the entire time ... now I occasionally chuckle if that

DanHibiki 05-05-2013 07:18 PM

Glad this train wreck is coming to an end but at the same time sad.

I wasn't terribly impressed with the last episode. It was decent but not on par with what it used to be.

As for Michael coming back for the series finale, it seems like that's nothing more than an unfulfilled wish. There's talk about there being a wedding and while I've been hoping it was his, I've a feeling it's going to be between Dwight and Angela... especially considering how the last episode ended. I do have high hopes for the finale since it's being directed by Ken Kwapis, who hasn't been seen since season 5. That said, I'm preparing myself for a bit of a let down. But, meh. Either way, it should still be somewhat of a decent episode. I've also read that they're trying to convince the network to allow an hour and a half episode get aired instead of a single hour that they were originally given.

DanHibiki 05-16-2013 05:32 PM

Series finale tonight ;_;

manly tears were shed.

BTW, what song was the orchestra playing during the wedding ceremony? I know that I know the song but I just can't place a name to it... and it's driving me bat shit crazy.

I loved this episode. It started off a little iffy, especially with the huge 180 of Angela, but it very quickly got into the swing of how The Office more or less used to be. I am very glad that they made this an extended episode (was originally only supposed to be 40 minutes before a huge online petition made the station think otherwise) because I can't imagine anything that they put in being cut out and still have the same sort of impact. I love that they brought Devon back as a sort of full circle as well.

Spoiler!

Despite the rather lackluster couple of last seasons, I'm glad the series went out on a high note. Yes, there are a few things I would have liked to see but didn't... but that's okay. And unlike most shows, at least they knew exactly when the series was ending so they could write a proper ending to the show instead of just reshooting a single episode to cram in a halfassed finale. Personally it's one of my favourite finales (though, mind you, Chuck's finale is one of my favourite's as well, so that may tell you something :lol).

Ron_Swanson 05-17-2013 01:09 AM

that finale... right in the feels.

Eatman 05-17-2013 01:54 AM

I hate the feeling when series end, especially ones that have been around for a long time. Makes me feel sad and old :QQ:

what a great ending.
