Coming from a huge office fan, that has it on repeat from justin.tv, I thought that was one of the worst episodes I've seen.

I agree. This show has gone down hill.

They have strayed so far from what the show was about when it first started.

The situations are very unrealistic, all the characters are weird.

I mean like, would Toby actually plank?!??? Come on that's so not in his character.

I feel like they are trying to be like Parks and Recreation but it's just not panning out.

Tonight's episode was pretty disappointing.

I almost choked on my hot chocolate @ the c-span part.
I liked that a lot.

Yeah that was kind of out of character. But I think he was just :troll:ing, to distract himself of the fact that all the workers below him won the lottery

The Office is trying to be like Parks and Recreation now. Everything is over the top.

Except that Parks and Recreation does it well while the office does not.

I actually liked the last episode. Yes, Darryl wasn't very funny but it was more of a character building episode where someone who's depressed about missing that golden opportunity just doesn't give a fuck anymore. I will agree Jim was a bit out of character, though (much like Toby with the planking bit).

As for the season in general, while I'll admit it's not the same without Michael, I still think it's got potential. There needs to be some Jim/Dwight pranks as well, I feel. Those were always good for subplots.

I find it funny this season, but for sure its different. Andy is more subtle at being retarded than Michael who always was overtly dumb.

yeah i agree. michael was relaly epic dumb at times to a point i could just like wtffff. Ed's character is a bit better which is more real life / in real situations...

I miss the pranks... I think I stayed for the pranks.
