illicitstylz 04-29-2011 07:42 AM

Goodbye, michael scott.

Fuhrėr-Z 04-29-2011 11:12 AM

Wow, awesome finale episode, jut wish Will Ferrell wasn't in it.

TheNewGirl 04-29-2011 12:05 PM

Michael got kinda lovable at the end. Though I think the proposal scene was him at his best.

Delish 04-29-2011 01:09 PM

I loved his goodbyes with Dwight, Jim and Pam. I didn't realize how much I'd miss him until last night's episode :(

x2

While I usually don't mind Will Ferrell in his movies, I just don't think I'd be able to stomach an entire TV series with him acting like a more annoying version of Michael Scott.

twitchyzero 04-29-2011 02:30 PM

damn what a sad exit...i love how he pulled out that microphone at the end. I kind of hoped he waited to leave during this season's finale.

Hmm I dont know i actually like ferrell..but i doubt he will stay on the show (he's too big of a star for it)

illicitstylz 04-29-2011 02:43 PM

great episode, he will be greatly missed, this is easily my favourite TV series.

" see you on the flippity flip "

Isn't he only on for a couple more episodes?

I've heard 4 episodes in total, he's appeared in 3 already if i'm not mistaken.

dub.g 04-29-2011 05:40 PM

I think the intention with Will Ferrell's character is to not like him at all, seeing as he is only contracted to 4 episodes and a favour to do the show for carell, producers want the audience to feel that Michael Scott is irreplaceable until the season finale..

Will Ferrell could have easily pull off one of the funniest and likable character on the show as his personality fit perfectly but since he is not committed to even have the possiblity of guest starring again in the future, if you notice even on his first episode appearance, him toying with andy, your not suppose to like him at all, he is just there.

Great last episode with steve carrell. It's not going to be the same anymore but I'll still watch until the end.

Culverin 04-30-2011 01:17 AM

Yeah, I'm going to stick with it until they run this ship into the ground. Carell will be missed, but the other actors have strong characters too, maybe this will give them a chance to shine.

I think Ferrel is there to make us miss Carell more too. He's there to give us somebody to hate so that we will more easily accept the eventual and final manager. I think it's a pretty smart move bringing him in as an in-betweener. I wonder who convinced him to even guest star, like twitchy said, he's a pretty big star for The Office.

DanHibiki 04-30-2011 01:41 AM

Gonna miss Steve Carrell but the show has been dragging on and going downhill. This fresh change is welcomed.

G 05-01-2011 03:03 PM

Man tears were shed in Michael's office scene.

You are right that it's hard to convince someone who's only in movies to do a cameo. However, this is why it's only 4 episode, and most of all, Will F. ain't even funny anymore. I bet he's bored as shit and needs a new movie and since he has nothing, that's why he's did this?

He did it as a favor to Steve Carrell.

Laundry 05-02-2011 11:40 PM

Will Ferrell on Conan made up for Will Ferrell on the Office...

Qmx323 05-05-2011 07:20 PM

Wow the episode tonight was actually ok

twitchyzero 05-06-2011 01:01 AM

boring
depends on who gets the manager position i'll be done with this show

SEE YOU ON THE FLIPITY FLIP

bcrdukes 05-06-2011 02:43 PM

This episode was kinda "meh."

DanHibiki 05-06-2011 02:53 PM

I thought Gabe is higher up than the Manager position. Why is he kissing up to Will Farrell?
