i love michael's hate for toby... he ruins all the fun

The Hype 05-02-2008 01:39 AM

Am I the only one that thinks after tonight's episode that Stanley is a HUGE douchebag? I know Michael is arrogant, and selfish, and insulting, etc etc, but having Stanley do what he did, especially when just he and Michael were talking made me really dislike the character now. I understand that Stanley is supposed to be a sourpuss, but he went beyond that and seemed really hurtful. I haven't hated a character this much since Josh Porter haha

Noir 05-02-2008 08:34 AM

I like how Dwight only gave Andy 3 seconds to close the deal 3,2,1...... 5,4,3,2,1..... 4,3,2,1.... Such as savvy businessman.

Today's episode wasn't that funny IMHO.

I think the highlight was when
Spoiler!

dub.g 05-09-2008 10:04 AM

i actually thought it was pretty good.. way better than Michael trying to find a date episode

Darryl is definitely an underrated character.. he should be in it more often, if he didnt work in the warehouse..

6793026 05-09-2008 02:02 PM

meh it wasn't that good.. but andy and his "i hit 1200 balls" was funny ahahhhah

Who caught the finale? I thought it was a great episode that had plenty of shocking/surprising moments.

Spoiler!

stuff99 05-16-2008 12:54 PM

any idea whats the real reason behind writing toby off?

SkinnyPupp 05-16-2008 07:07 PM

That finale contained some of the best writing I've ever seen on TV. Amazing.

i dont know if its anything to do with but NBC did announced their fall and 2009 line up for shows and The Office spin off is indeed already greenlighted by NBC.. well has been since last year..

one speculation is Jim eventually getting Ryan's job or another position on corporate and Pam going to New York for her school thingy

keep in mind that majority of The Office's cast are the writers of the show themselves so Toby leaving could just be a simple sign that Paul Lieberstein would rather settle to work behind the camera rather than as an actor... and with the spin off, a potential split in the writer's team much like how The Simpson's writers were split to go to Futurama.... thats another speculation

^^^

That was a good ending to an episode full of surprises.

dub.g 09-26-2008 12:15 AM

great great great season premiere episode tonight.. way better than any of NBC season premiere this year (*ahem... Heroes has gone down the crapper)

Ryan is back.... Michael Scott sports a goatee for a better part of the episode..... he eerily resemble David Brent from UK Office.... well its most likely an homage anyways

Andy, Angela and Dwight triangle storyline is going really great..

Holly Flax character is really fitting in well......

and damn Craig Robinson who plays Darryl looks horrible. he gained weight and had a rough voice.. hope that had nothing to do with his little meth bust couple of months ago.. would b sad to loose him in the series, he is a funny character..

they seem to be planning on taking the Jim and Pam story to another direction, or some sort of twist or conflict....

and damn................................. poor Toby..

Ronin 09-26-2008 02:23 AM

Pam was hawt in this episode. "What up two-one-two?!" I loved it when they interviewed her...as a laptop.

I agree about Holly...she's quite a good fit and pretty funny.

Darryl is one of the funniest characters along with Creed and Kevin.

"I used to be in a gang."

"Bloods or Crips?"

"Both...and the Latin Kings."

...and what was up with Merideth's face?
