Count me in! I was supposed to go last Saturday but couldn't due to a scheduling conflict. Was going to do it this Saturday, but I might as well switch it to Sunday and go with you guys.

Do we just make an appointment for 1:30 or just show up?

I think the appointment has already been made for Revscene. All the other times I've gone, I've went in, said I was with Revscene and they stuck me in the line-up for the iron testing.

Ah, OK. I figure they won't turn away anyone who's willing to give blood ;)

They called me last Thursday saying they were really low on blood, so for those who can give, please give! For those who haven't donated before, it's never too late.

I started donating after the gf was in a serious accident early last year. She required a large amount of blood and thanks to the blood bank, she was well taken care of and has made a full recovery. Ever since then, I've been going every 52 days, and have gotten most of my family in on donating. :)

That's awesome! Not that your girl was in an accident... that you are still donating and such. That's sort of my reason too, I was in a really bad accident when I was 10 and needed blood too, so that's one of the reasons I go. I also know a few cancer patients (I think it's cancer anyway) that need blood transfusions.

I'm sitting at YVR waiting for my flight to Dallas after work decided to hit me with some last minute travel. I'll make sure to be there next time though!
