The Mobfathers 9/10: Low budget gangster comedy with Chapman To, Gregory Wong and Anthony Wong. All 3 main stars as good as usual and played their part well.
At first seems to be just another pointless and forgettable HK cinema film with maybe one or two memorable quotes and a lot of crappy visual effects but the apparent allegory really is an eye opener and reminded me how uncertain and scary the future holds for Hong Kong as everyone is really powerless is just a pawn in the dirty palms of China.

I agree. I really wanted to like this movie and unfortunately the story is over simplistic even for a teen audience. It's based on a book trilogy, yet the plot feels like just the first act of a whole film, with obvious franchise hopes. It's watchable, but not memorable. Chloe Moretz and Ron Livingston did the best with what they were given.

In The Deep: 5/10
It was tolerable because I watched it during my lunch breaks at work, if it were on my own time i'd want my hour and a half of life back.

i like kevin hart but i thought he was terrible in this. i thought the dwayne was pretty good in this, he pretty much played a laid back rock persona. disappointed no people's elbow or rock bottom though

Batman vs. Superman 7/10 - a lot better than I expected with all the shitty reviews it got. The dream sequences seemed dumb and a waste of time but all in all it was pretty decent.

I'll spoiler just in case but man, this annoyed me.............
Spoiler!

I still remember when the trailer first came out during previews it looked pretty epic but that's what trailers try to do as the movie was beyond bunk.

For anyone watching BvS I highly suggest you watch the Ultimate Edition which is 30mins longer and rated R but don't expect Deadpool rated R. Either way the movie is a lot better than the theatrical release but of course still has it's flaws.

Dammn. That bad?

For context, how did you rate BvS and Xmen Apocalypse?

okay maybe i was too harsh giving a review right after watching it, having a night to digest, i'll give it a 3.5 instead of the 2.5, harley quinn, deadshot, were good, joker, can't really comment cause u don't really see him. The movie was like a long music video. I'll comment more after it's release.

Batman vs Superman, give it the same score, 3.5 and haven't watched x-men apocalypse yet. FYI, my scale of 10, 5 is average not 7 like most people. Deadpool for example, i would give 8

The trailer didn't interest me at all. The movie looks like it has a cool "look" but that's about it. Once they started showing more "normal" scenes I was over it already

Def won't be watching it in theatres

The dream sequences seemed like they were from a different movie or something.

Agreed. Pointless as some of the scenes were in the trailer and to find out he was just dreaming it all made it a disappointment.

Since I just ordered it through Apple TV, did I watch the extended version with the extra 30 minutes? The movie was 2h 31m long in total but not sure I saw the extended version. Any feedback on that from others that have seen it?

Pretty sure the bluray extended cut I watched was around 2h 57m. It was way too long.
