Yup, finished all 3 episode and it's planned for 8. the music / suspense is good. I think each episode is movie quality is really awesome cause there's always some type of action and encounter of an alien. Please don't pull stupid ass stunt and put out an episode without any aliens and make it all about dialogue LOL. There are times when I feel.. errr you're a search and rescue team.. where are the guns. Where are your back up - you're just 2 people + 1 medic wtf... and you're just wearing a satchel...LOL Episode 3 reminded me of Judge Dredd (2nd one in 2012) which they are all trying to escape / arrest someone in one building. Jeff Russo as I've said did the score so it's crazy esp he took some futuristic sounds which I guess he got his mojo esp doing Star Trek + Umbrella academy. 4 "Observation"[16] Ugla Hauksdóttir Noah Hawley and Bobak Esfarjani August 26, 2025 TBD 5 "In Space, No One..."[17] Noah Hawley Noah Hawley September 2, 2025 TBD 6 "The Fly"[18] Ugla Hauksdóttir Noah Hawley and Lisa Long September 9, 2025 TBD 7 "Emergence"[19] Dana Gonzales Noah Hawley and Maria Melnik September 16, 2025 TBD 8 "The Real Monsters"[20] TBA Noah Hawley & Migizi Pensoneau September 23, 2025 |
Formula 1 https://corp.formula1.com/wp-content...920x1080-1.jpg what a great summer movie that wife and I could enjoy without her being crazy about whether it's sad ending or ghosts or crime etc. Amazing pacing, story and character building, jam packed action with brilliant sound effects. Fact that Joseph Kosinski did wrote and director this definitely was from teh help of his previous blockbuster (Tron, Oblivion (tom cruise), and of course Top Gun: Maverick with the recent -Twister movie). All in all, nothing was too forced, you know how it will all work out. Brad's own story line was solid as well as minmial love interests just made it all work. The jokes, casting, and dialogue were all nicely done so it wasnt' just a race movie. Yes there were times wife had to stop and ask the questions btu it didn't kill the rhytm. Great summer happy go luck watch for the family. Dang Brad is getting old.. but I cant' image any A class males woudl be able to do this. THen again, the movie woudl have to be B pitt as he was paid 30 M all along fro leading the project since the bidding started. |
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...ilm_poster.jpg 28 Years Later -- Ughhhh... How did they fuck this one up so bad? This is a classic example of how modern films really suck when compared to their originals. 28 days later was easily one of my favorite "zombie" films, I cannot believe how different and poor this film is in comparison. No spoilers, but this one can't hold a candle to the original, it felt almost cartoonish, such a different feel to this film. 6/10, although I could even give this a 5/10. |
Eenie Meanie - 9/10 The title is weird but it was a great movie. It's technically a heist thriller but it had a lot more than just that in it. The action sequences were good and the characters felt very real, they were all flawed, normal people. The plot kept me guessing and I won't spoil it but the ending caught me off guard a bit, though it did make sense and was fitting with the characters. On a car note it has an absolutely gorgeous 72 Barracuda in it. |

Movie poster of Samara Weaving looked too similar to Margot Robbie and then i realize it's not her gave me another doubt as well. LOL |
Fortunately the trailer had shown enough good bits to get me interested without giving away the whole plot (rare these days) before the title was shown. It also only comes up very, very briefly during the movie as well. It reminded me of Baby Driver. The title, and especially the accounts for the ads like babydrivermovie, sounded so cheesy I thought it had to be complete crap. Eventually I heard enough good things about it to check it out and it was actually pretty decent. |
Kpop Demon Hunters 8/10 Fun charming movie, catchy tunes and amazing audio if you have a good sound system. |

https://img2.hulu.com/user/v3/artwor...5D%7D%7D%2C%5D Eenie Meanie did not do it for me (or my wife); many woudl say i have weird taste on here so i'll blame myself. Shawn Simmons was writer and director which did help cause it helps with vision but it also means if it fails, it's their fault. Shawn did do The Continental but it only lasted 3 episode. Not sure if it's cause he's still a newbie but the pacing of the movie was a tad slow for wife and I. I did enjoy the explanation between the bf / girl direction; didn't save the movie. Samara Weaving has a few VHS / DVD movies under her belt (as a lead) but mostly cause she's a blonde. Her acting, maybe due to character was really mono tone, lack of connection with the bf, audience ... The final action sequence also didn't justify the entire movie. At least for baby driver it was action, car chase and most importantly, the pull between Kevin Spacey's relationship. This one was really meh esp Andy Garcia was casted. What do I know about movies but 50 million is quite steep to fall this flat esp when you casted a whole bunch of lack luster star power cast to also fail in car chase sequence. |
Watching the trailer I was really confused about the appeal of her bf, he looks like an addict which I understand also from the trailer he may well be, but what’s her attraction to him at a level where she wants to risk her life to save him or he bags a hottie like that even on his best sober day? |

It's weird some people rate 28 weeks later as a bad movie, but I actually enjoyed it (although its been a while since I've seen it). I'd say I enjoyed 28 weeks later more than 28 years later, by a fair margin. They leaned too much into the silly/comedic side in this most recent movie, which I absolutely HATE about modern films. |
oh no, that franchise has nothing funny about it. it's dark & dystopian. i didn't mind 28 weeks later, not as good as the original, but rarely any is. looks like i can pass on 28 years, will wait for 28 decades later LUL |
please please pass on 28 years later... total waste of time. 28 days was great.. still remember the classic scene of an empty London. https://blogger.googleusercontent.co...8dayslater.png 28 Weeks Later will seem like a treat compared to 28 yrs later. |
Watched F1, I’m not an F1 fan at all but heard it was good, I have to admit, it was good I enjoyed it, I enjoyed the actor that played Brad pitt’s old friend Saw thunderbolts as well. It was meh, wasn’t great wasn’t horrible Given the slop coming from marvel/Disney these days, I was able to watch until the end. I guess that’s a win |

https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/c...el-holland.jpg Gosh, this movie was Crappppp. It was from a great mystery novel (5th one), but one was just so oooo boring. First of all, why is the movie poster like this, well cause NO ONE WOULD WATCH a movie with a cast that's 80 yrs old. LOL. Helen M, she kept well but she's 80, Ben Kingsley was 81, Jonathan Pryce (2 popes, Tomorrow Never dies) is 78 even Celia Imrie (she's 73 but she played like she's 90 in the film), heck, even mr james bond Pierce Brosnan was 72. The star power was meh to say the least, and now tries to be all woke so they casted Naomi Ackie totally useless character (she played whitney houston, and crazy of a chick in Blink Twice). The premise ...5 retired elders in an old age home (which looks like downton abbey castle) tries to solve cases. It was off to a good start, but the case was not intriguing and despite it ties / wraps / uncovers all together in the end.. it just wasn't intriguing at all. 5 stars, 2 tier two support cast, 2 policeman, 2-3 deaths, and then wrap around with 6 suspects to keep you guessing.. well guess what, character building goes down the drain. Wife and I tried to enjoy a mystery given it's a famous book but please don't make another one. Yes, the director did come to fame from Home alone, Mrs Doubtfire, harry potter (2 of them)but since then, he hasn't been in tune since and only produce once every 5 years. |
https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/...qcGc@._V1_.jpg Squid Game season 3 Is it me or was this just super boring? It did try to keep SOME human emotional tension, add in a bit of LGBTQ,drugs, mother / daughter, mom and son dynamic yet it all broke down really bad. The good part was part 2 ending off with some action with betrayal, so I get that... Each of the character had it own story line and I did appreciate the premise. - Fortune telling - Girl with a baby - Dude with drugs - Mother and son in the game All of these were super solid, just a bit of a emotional roller coaster that took a bit long to wind down, so at time i had to fast forward just to get to the end. What was good from season 1 was the games were the key focus, and then this one.. was a bit of a miss. Glad it's finished so I can focus on Aliens. |
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...025_poster.jpg Speaking of old folks. Pam Anderson is almost 60 and Liam Neeson is now older than Leslie Nielson in the 3rd movie. Actually really funny and pretty much in the sprit of the original movies. I can't remember any comedy movie made in the last decade that was this good. Go see it. |
Good old Naked Gun legacy Leslie Nielsen will live on; i honestly don't know who would have carried Leslie's torch better than Liam. The last type of comedy (yes we are old) I watched was for sure Charlie Sheen in Hot Shots Part Deux. Last funny movie I watched was a) Super bad b) 40 yur old virgin c) crazy stupid love https://media0084.elcinema.com/uploa...13a7c43841.jpg Many did not appreciate the humor and the weird cringy Liam, then again, we all grew up with Stephen now that woudl be totally inapproproiate https://img.ltn.com.tw/Upload/ent/pa.../phpJqrcau.jpg *Love on Delivery - Stephen Chow |

Watched F1 last night. 6.5/10 Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh... I'd say the best description of this movie would be ornamental, or vacuous. Beautiful to look at, but flat and soullessly empty, a perfect epitome of a modern day film. I felt like Brad Pitt was just playing a version of himself in this film, I can't explain it. It was like watching a fancy commercial, or cutscenes out of a video game. Boring, derivative, but from a technical and aesthetic perspective, filmed beautifully. Like a fart in the wind, this film will be forgotten and not remembered in a year from now. |

Budget was 46 M and they already doubled that so that's good to see. Please do not do any more LOL. There are a few easter eggs at the end but meh; the credit though did say Seth MacFarlane was a producer so I have to say he probably had a few helping hands in it. The pacing, how fast it was, the snowman scene were all signature of Seth to day the least. There are a few LOL moments and gosh, there are so many one liners if you yawn you will miss it for sure. For the record i didn't know "Let's Get It Started" Black Eye Pea was the clean version LOL Great comparison would be a foreigner watching Shaolin soccer and be like wtf. If my mom and dad watched this they would say the same. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/7hyt0ClX6Oo/maxresdefault.jpg |
I had low expectations when I went to watch Naked Gun, thought it would be cringe and stupid. Very happy to report I was wrong and thoroughly enjoyed it :D |
The Conjuring Last Rites. soon as you're brain remembers the past films its gets repetitive. 5/10. okay but nothing to rush out on than plan on buying on media. |
