do you have low position seat rail on your momo seats?
I think you should get one to make your seat lower.
This low position seat rail fits SA, FB and FC |

Interesting. Do you know how much do they lower the seats and how much they cost. My knees are always touching the wheel when I have the seat in aggresive driving position.

That rail is made in Japan and you'll have to pay for shipping...
I think you should try find other one...I am pretty sure there are less expensive ones...maybe try some shops.
Lowering your seat is very good for handling. Your car's weight will lower and makes it more stable while cornering. |

Hmm, I was out driving tonight and I don't think I'd like the seat much lower (especially at that price) becaue I'd lose some visibility. I need to be able to see the road to pick those sweet lines, plus I don't want to look like one of those idiots with the seat all the wayyy back one fisting the wheel. Seems that most people into one arm thuggin also enjoy violating the center channel with their passenger. That's some of the funniest shit on the road today, I'm alsways coming up behind cars and going, "Well surprise surprise another pair of guys trying to kiss each other..." Is the view really that much better from the middle of the car? Enjoy your homoerotism boys, I'll pass thanks.

Hello, guys! I hope to be the proud new owner of a nice clean FC in the next couple of days.
Can someone give me a rundown or at least point me in the direction of a guide that explains exactly how to take great care of an NA FC?

Well on the junkyard hunt for a new rad I found some other things that I've been needing for awhile. Finally I can roll my windows all the way up. I checked BC RX-7 and I first posted about this on Sept 4th 2001....damn that was a long time ago. It wasn't bad when it first broke..just couldn't make it the last few inches, by the end I could only get it up a few inches from the bottom. I also found a new door tumbler.
I know that doesn't sound that impressive to you guys, but try living with windows that slowly fall down at highway speed and a door that doesn't unlock (lucky the window was broken or I'd have been crawling through the hatch) for a few years and you'll understand. Mazdatrix wanted 110$US for the window regulator alone... I got both yesterday for 60$. Finally, somthing going my way.

Alllrighty then....Rx7club appears to be inworking order again so...
This is the 2nd Generation Specific (1986-92) forum.
And the most common topics are covered and answered in the 2nd Gen Archive
That should keep you busy for awhile.

Well I gave up on junkyard wars because I need the car by sat for work, so I broke down and yanked the rad and took it to get re-cored. Should be ready by tommorow. Going to set up a PayPal account today too and buy my oil cooler.
This morning I was at Lordco with Tyler picking up some stuff he needed, and I remembered that I needed to buy some oil. And of we all know the rule of tumb: When buying oil, always purchase Hella H4 headlights. They usually wear out at the same time, lol. So I've got new lights (installed...way to easy) but I can't test them tonight, sniff. I'm bored today, I think I'm goign to install my shocks and springs for kicks. Later.
