Timpo it wouldnt have costed that much at all to fix your car.. re-wire your alarm and remove your subs.. get new hood.. your car was nice.. and you sold it for way to less.. I told you i'd give you 17,000-18,000 by the end of summer for it.. why did you sell it for 13,000?

because that car had 4 salvage titiles, 1 total theft title and 1 rebuilt titile.

.......... and you could have sold it for 5 grand more at the end of summer.

Personally, I don't care what titles a car has as long as it's all good now, just means discounts.

well look at it this way.. you buy a 32 Ford from a junkar.. was smashed and burnt has no body panels.. u take it home and strip it down to the frame and rebuild everything 120% better then factory and brand new body with metallic paint lowered on 19's full custom leather interior... is this car only worth 2,000 because thats what you bought it for outta yeah JY.. no you could sell upwards of 30,000+ if your did it right.. If your car was straight and clean and rebuild which it was.. then it is ok.. your frames wasnt bend.. your hood was crunched a bit but thats ok just need to move it forward.. realign.. it was a clean car worth way mroe then 13,000.. and it couldnt have been that bad on car.. compared to what a normal rotary?? what 45$ to fill on 94 and 350-400 outta a tank.. your next 3rd gen ill buy off yoiu for 13,000 just let me know when u get it...:o :(

If I knew he would sell for 13g's I would have taken a bus down to get it.I could have the money with no problems for a FD.:d Then single turbo it with a nice bridge port.:D

Sounds great to me.

I talked to the guys at Progressive. He said my car should be ready by Friday-Monday area I think. So if I can find a ride down to Vic sometime after its done. Even if its on Monday then I can get the first oil change done before the 1st. Hopefully I will be able to afford this, I am gonna borrow some cash from my mom, but might have to borrow alot depending on taxes. Anyone know what the % of tax is on automotive work?

Assuming I have my car and can still afford to go :D Shall I just come down and meet you at your place Tyler? Then we can all make the trip together and such....I know I'll get lost otherwise. :D hahaha.....anyways...will talk to you later about it.

PS. Where are you ordering from to get the header to your door for only $200Canadian?? It costs $187 USD from the RB site so with shipping, taxes, duty, and converting to Canadian dollars your looking at a good $400 from them. Just curious cause I am gonna need one in future.

So as long as I can afford all this car shit and still have some money left over.....I should be driving on the 1st with 500+km on the new engine. :D Now just gotta see how much money I can borrow from my mom and how much my car will cost after taxes.

Yeah I think he knows about me being in the club though....I dunno.....he is gonna be calling again when its ready and I will ask him then about it. He said he could get me a header but I decided I could not afford it....would have added on about $400 I think. Not sure exactly but whatever....it can wait for now.

About work hours. Here are mine:

Friday: 8-4:30 (I think) so cannot get it friday unless you can take me and they can stay till 6ish or 6:30.
Sat: 10:30-7 no chance of getting it Sat
Sun: 6-2:30 But they are closed, but he said I might still be able to get it but will have to see.
Monday: 0-0 Not working so if your off we could go then. :D hehe.
I'll pay for gas of course. :D

Did not talk about port sizes but he knows I wanted a decent sized street port. :D

So for now I'll have a ported engine with it completely straight piped off the stock manifold in 2.5 inch piping (last pre cat is gonna be gutted), should be aweful loud. :D hehe. I will put the 500km on it before Twusday and do the oil change in my driveway Teusday morning probably. :D

What time are we heading out on Teusday?

I know of 2 FC's in Qualicum, one is the red TII I was maybe going to buy, and one is a white 88 GX. They might be able to come along to this meet but I dunno....I have only ever spoken to the guy with the white 88 GX, I have him on MSN so can invite him along if you all want. The red TII I don't know how to get ahold of though. Shall I tell the guy with the white one to come? He's pretty much stock other then mufflers on the stock Y pipe with the middle cat removed, he can come if his starter is fixed by then.
