Okay guys, here's the thing. I'd like to do something to my exhaust, but I'm really not sure what. I don't want to spend a ton, but I'd like something that gives good power gains for price, has a nice sound but isn't going to attract many cops, and is available locally.

Now, say if I wanted to spend like 300-500, what would be the thing to do? Basically, I want to do something short of a full exhaust, but I don't want to have to redo anything when I do get a full exhaust, which realistically won't be for several months.

ok heres what you can do.. youve heard mine now.. i have header - straight pipe - muffler.. its decent loud.. if you want something quieter then get smaller tip.. you have a few options

get RB header about $200 to your door.. get pipe made to a single muffler "its cheeper" or just keep stock mufflers but you wont notive much gain with them.. plus they weigh 50 pounds each!!

goto www.rx7.net and buy there "race pipe" has a scilencer in it and it only costs like $110 and it has a great sound and then just get 2 or 1 muffler and any shop should be able to bend you up some pipe.. I would reccomend Rick at sidney Tire downtown.. hes dumb but does good work.. tell him what you want done and he'll do it.. get 2.5" pipe though..

i would say go with headers right away and dont have to do it again.. go with single setup with 2.5" pipe to a SS packed muffler with a 3" tip.. you can get nice ones with a scilencer at Lordco downtown..

Well....the guy who writes our schedules at work is total stunner! I had asked him for July 1st/2nd as Vacation days about 2 weeks back or so. Even wrote him a note and shit. So whats on the new schedule? July 1st, scheduled 6am-2:30pm. At least I have an excuse for getting him to change it.....it should all be good. At least I have the Monday, Wednsday, and Thursday off. Just gotta get rid of that damn 6-2:30 which should be easy.

Anyways, as you can all see I am bored and posting random shit. Oh well.......got nothing else to do......tomorrow will be the first Sunday I am NOT working since before Christmas, and today was the first Sat I have not started at 6am since before Christmas as well. So I am sort of confused as to whats going on and what I should be doing with so much time on my hands on the weekend. hehe

ok so i was 2 poor to afford gas today but i did have plenty of motor oil and water and i mixed the 2 and put it in my gas tank.

dose this mean my engine isnt' rotarized NEmore??!?1

Car still not running, but the carb is back together properly. Going to lean out the mixture on the primaries until she runs.

I don't think you should mix water and motor oil...
