Well, I slept in this morning, so the car doesn't even start, but that'll all be fixed shortly. Unfortunately I got FUCKING RIPPED on the exhaust. The guy is super nice, but the price I paid was way more than I planned for............. fawk. Anyhow, t0mmy, I'm sure we'll be seeing you around soon enough, we need another 7 to come cruising all the time :D |

Thats too bad Coal. He always gives my mom good prices on work on her car (maybe its because we're his neighbours though). I dunno. How much did it cost for what to be done?? Anyways, so here is my story from the past two days. Whent out driving with Tyler and George and Coal riding shotgun last night. Was fun, ripped around and whent part way to port and shit. Good stuff, I havn't driven my car in quite a while, forgot how it handled and shit, even though those new tires lick ballz! Anyways, on the way back I poped another seal, probably on the front rotor this time. Car idled way smoother cause now had low compression on both rotors instead of one. :D hahaha. So drove it home and parked it. Got up this morning, it started wicked fast, drove it to Nanaimo and then to Victoria. What a painful time that was when accelerating. I think I whent 0-80km/h in like 20-30 seconds or so. Drove it all the way there running insanely rich, probably about 5mpg or so. Got 100km and was at half a tank from full. Was hilarious that the damn car still ran and made it all the way to victoria on like 1/4 of an engine or 1/2 an engine or whatever. They are gonna pull the engine on Thurs/Friday area and have at it. mmmm....rebuilt engine will be mine soon. :D Anyways, thanks for the escort Tyler. :D Next time we are in Vic it should be me breaking in my new engine! :D later -Justin |

Aight lemme know what the final price is. I been thinking of getting my motor rebuilt before i sell it off just been curious on the price. I would love to do it myself to learn but doubt anyone would want a TII after its been rebuilt by some college student with 0 experience. :p |

Well, I think it mostly wouldn't run because it was pretty much out of gas. Checked the float bowl and adjusted it, but the fuel line seal was cracked I guess and got worse, and started spraying fuel when the fuel pump was turned on. Fuckit, rebuilding the carb tomorrow. |
Did anyone go to the last import show think couple weeks ago? There were a few nice 7s there but this one made me cream my pants. *HINT HINT: Look at the distributor* Its too bad I couldn't stay longer and take more pics of this beauty, had to make the ferry back home for loading of the shrimps :( http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...4/fbe54439.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...2/fbe54446.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...5/fbe54447.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...0/fbe54438.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...f/fbe5443c.jpg |

Well, got my carb kit, just a quick kit with all the usual seals. I'm just going to fix the seal that blew and replace my fuel bowl seals, should make things allllll better. :) |
Coal, What did you do for your exhaust now? |
Just stock muffler put back on, and if I knew it was going to cost me so much, I woulda rolled it down into town and got a lot more done for the same price, lol. |
