GOD DAMN! I NEED a BIKE so bad!!!!!!!

I'm driving through parksville. Pull up next to 2 Yamaha R6's at a red light. They take one look at my car and rev there engines big time. I look over and just smile and nod. Throw a rev at them too. Of course I am not gonna race bikes through town on an engine still in break in time, but I wanted them to think I would and launch it hard. So they start edging forward and reving it up a bit. Light goes green, we accelerate sorta slow through the intersection. Then they just fuckin lay into it and are gone, one wheelies down the road. My god it was awesome to see and hear. I am so getting a bike for next summer!

Anyways, just had to share.

yeah bikes are really cool...usually 3.0sec stock for normal 600cc sport bikes...

I think the specs on my bike are around 0-60 in 2.7sec. But that is before the bolt on toys.:D But then again who cares she still looks better on the back wheel.

I have just done all of the basic mods to it, intake, exhaust, re-jet all the carbs, and re-geared it.

Boo, I got Pwned by the intake O rings. It appears that they had disintigrated pretty badly and I'm hoping this was the source of my disappearing coolant. Anywho, I'm screwed til Tuesday when Mazda ge a new intake gasket in. I'm also going to avoid the whole O ring headache and tap in 2 20mm freeze plugs to make sure this issue never comes up again. Plus I'll be able to remove my intake without getting coolant all over the place. I'm also going to clean the engine up a bit while it's open.


I'm also looking at a Half Bridge 12A for 2 grand. It's quite the deal. I'm getting some more info on it right now. Brap brap brap.

So I'm hoping by this Friday, my car will be significantly different. Here's what's getting done (if I can fit it in, timewise):

-Getting that terrible unsightly fucking rip in the front seat fixed
-Getting a backseat from a friend of mine (only having a two-seater is getting more inconvenient than I can handle.
-Getting a tune up done
-Getting an alarm installed

Where should I go for the tune up in Nanaimo? I really want someone who knows their way around rotaries to give it a once over and identify any trouble spots before i start modding it. Is Mazda the only decent place, or what?

The backseats for the FC are a sick joke. Not exactly any room for a normal sized person back there. I just saw some today, and sat in the front seats and looked back. With the seat adjusted so I had normal leg room in the front, there was about 3 inches between the back seat and driver seat.

LOL true about the rear seats of the Fc's. Why Im planning on getting rid of mine for storage bins! Anyone wanna trade?? :p

For tuning/tune up the only person I'd trust would be Mark at Mazda. Try taking it somewhere else and watch the mechanics face when he first see the engine. That should be enough for you to ask for your keys back. Someone scratching and shaking their head doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

I'd soooo trade ya, but my interiors red and has a small rip in it so I doubt you'd be interested :)
