Got screwed at the JY for end links. Going to Lordco or Crap Tire tommorow to get a set of Energy Suspension En d Links. WoOt. It thing the ES kits are 25 bone for the pair. Mazda wanted 40 bux for a single link, and I'd have to wait until next week.

Oh man (Slaps self) Went to Lordco got the bolt and spacer assembly for $11. Well the bar is in. It's pretty dammed sweet.

The install is pretty straight forward, just takes time, lots of old bolts. A little bit of juggling and I had it installed on my own in less than 2 hours. A few times an extra pair of hands would have been nice, even girly hands like Tyler's.

Performance. HOLY CRAP! What a difference. Turn in is much sharper, cornering power is up and driver confidence is building. I went out last night and had to retrain myself to not reach for the brake. Also I finnaly have a line on strut housings from Tiers2 (BCRX-7) and I should get my hands on them next weekend. Get to cruise down and help with an engine swap too. :)

With the front suspension on this thing is going to slay.

...and my sperm count is up.

NanaimoRx-7 08-09-2003 01:15 PM

I lowered my cholesterol.

jeffraider 08-09-2003 01:19 PM

what is cholestrol

:(

NanaimoRx-7 08-09-2003 02:02 PM

If the cholesterol levels get too high in the motor it will interfere with flow to the flux capacitor.

When the front finally goes in it will be Racing Beat Springs with Tokico Blues all around. The rear bar is the stock SA bar (18mm the big one)

Cool.I can't wait to try my tokkiko blues out in the twisties.

NanaimoRx-7 08-10-2003 07:29 PM

I've got them in the back with the RB springs already. They feel great. People compare the Blues to a 3.5-4 on the adjustable Illuminas...for double the price they didn't seem worth it. Especially since I'd never set them softer. :grin-FU:

Yay! 2 new engine grounds = solid idle! And it also fixed the problem of my tach not working when car is cold or if its cold outside. Before it would not come on until the engine had fully warmed up unless it was a really hot day out then it would just work. Now, in the cold of 5:30am with stone cold engine the tach works right from the get go. :D

I need grippy tires. Last night on the way home I tried launching from a stop through an intersection. Held it at around 3800rpm and when it whent green light I whent for it. Well my tires instantly broke loose in a very aggressive manner, in fact I whent no where for a second, they just spun on the spot.....then as I started moving they spun all the way through the intersection. This was with letting off the gas a little bit and trying to feather it a bit. There was no traction at all....was pretty pathetic actually. Probably looked pretty bad ass though if there had been anyone to see it. Oh well. Its raining a bit today...hopefully it will rain tonight.....*cough* drift session *cough*

later

Yo yo Justin, I was going to drop by your place after work today. I even got on your road, but the rain was cooperating and I remember I had to be back in town early today. It's pouring in Nanaimo. Tyler's off at 5:30.

Rx racer 08-11-2003 06:50 PM
