The clutch release fork is forged.ITs not going to break on you.Most likely the bearing had enough popping in its life and went on you.I spent $350 on my clutch kit I put in my 83 last winter and another 250 on the hydraulics because they all went at the same time.The clutch itself is easy to replace tho.You have a choice of dropping the tranny or pulling the motor off.I pulled my motor out just enough to put the new clutch and bearing on and slid it back together.Did it in 6 hours, not bad for doing a 13b clutch for the first time.Still beats taking the console apart to drop the tranny.I just had to pull my rad out of the way. :D

yeah can tire said its in the tranny, my bro in law and uncle are both mechanics so they will be able to assist if i replace the whople tranny problem is i still dont know if icbc is writing off my car or not....if they do theres no point in doing ne thing to it ...fuckin icbc

u removed the motor instead of just taking out youre center consol and dropping the trans.. way to do things the absolute hardest way

With as clean as my bay is its alot faster than wasting time dropping the tranny and trying to slide the input shaft back in afterwards.Mine is carbed now instead of EFI.Makes things twice as fast now.:)

still fucking with the input shaft is not that difficult especially if u get the guide studs (yes most trans can get guide studs) and at any rate u have to line up the imput shaft again ne way no matter how u do it when u slide the motor back again.. and moving a motor is way mor difficult thatn a trans

wow i really like that FD minus the doors.. i am not a fan or the lambo style things.. he needs to remove the flat panels in his front grill.. hella brake fade if he actually tracks it..

Yeah Coal I made it home ok. I filled up on gas so I could have maximum weight over the rear wheels and then started my run. I think I did an average speed of about 60km/h the ENTIRE way back from the chevron at woodgrove mall. Was intense. Then when I got back to my road I when into that big open area in front of where bonanza used to be and did a couple donuts in there...was sweet. Musta been like 4-6inches of untouched fresh snow there, good fun. :D That meet whent on for so long though if you count it as a meet. I did not get home till like 6:30 (although I left Nanaimo at like 5:30ish). All we did was hang out talking. Eventually met up with J4 at Timmy Hoes and we all just sat around talking for like 2 hours. Total revscene meet for sure. :p

Hey Tyler, sorry if you called me and I did not answer. I slept in till like 2pm cause I did not get to sleep till around 6:30am. :p I got tomorrow night free, after I get back from snowboarding.
