wow...just tried driving across town....the snow is intense. Flat roads and I can barely make it anywhere. No traction, got nicely bent multiple times and if I had payed attention I am sure I got some dirty looks as it was obvious how on purpose it was. Oh wait, I did get a dirty look. I was turning around on a narrow road so I pulled the e-brake and turned hard, almost made it the full 180 degrees so I could park. There was this old dude walking down the side walk and he just stopped and stared at me all hardcore. :D Good stuff.

Wow I am just posting away here.

Anyways, not sure if any of you guys have problems with your door locks freezing up or anything like I was having recently. I would leave my car for like 3-4 hours and the locks would freeze up cause its so damn cold out. So I whent to Lordco and got this spray stuff called Liquid Wrench. It is for unfreezing locks and also lubricates (lol) the mechanism. I used it once in both locks yesterday and the locks have not frozen up on me yet. This morning when I came out to my car after it had sat all night they unlocked with the key with absolutely no problems. Costs like $3 for a small bottle. Its wicked stuff. Go get some.

Hey Tyler. Your rims off your GX are universal right? They have a 4x114.3 and is the other pattern a 4x100? If the other pattern is a 4x100 then I may have a buyer for them if you can clean em up real good. My brother just bought a civic and wants to get some rims for it or something and I thought of your old ones if you wanna sell em. I'll talk to you more about it later.

I called about a 1986 mazda 323, it says GT in the paper, but she said she thinks its Gti , im hoping its a gtx, does anybody know the models that came out for these...ie. gtx, base etc.

D4Damager 01-06-2004 08:01 PM

i believe it was only the GTX as far as the GT series went?

raymond_87 01-06-2004 08:10 PM

Wow, I am pulling a Timpo here tonight with all my posts. :p

Anyways, its something I just thought about in regards to the rad panels that we were planning on getting. If we sanded them down real good and smooth, and maybe even buffed em up a little to get some shine to them or something. Or we could paint them a solid colour. Then I was thinking my dad could spray something onto them. Maybe something like "Velocity Motorsports" or "Velocity RX7". He could spray it on, then clear coat them and make em look real good and sexy. Probably pretty easy to do. Just got the idea from the fact that he is doing a neat paint job on his guitar right now and figured he could apply the same idea to our Rad Panels. All we would need is something to be painted on there and could make a cutout of sorts for him to spray over. Just an idea if anyone is game it can be done.

That's a really cool idea. I wouldn't mind getting a

TIME SINCE LAST REBUILD: TWO DAYS

or something lol

But yeah, something that says velocity would be nice.

There was GTX and GT both had the B6T turbo motor in them but the GTX is all wheel drive. Those motors work great in a lightwieght festiva.

Oh yeah....damn allen keys. :p I'll look around my shed and see if I got anything kickin around, don't think I do but will look and see.

Do you work Saturday? If so what time? I am gonna be coming down to Nanaimo on Sat to hit up A&B sound and return a CD so I'll be in the area, probably gonna be hangin out in Nanaimo most of the night too. I'll call ya or something tomorrow and see whats up.

Well not sure how Nanaimo is for snow but all ours got rained away! YEEEEAAAAHHHHHH!!!! I fuckin hate trying to drive my car in snow, yeah yeah drifting is wicked fun but its not worth it for the struggle to get anywhere. Yesterday what should have been a 5 minute drive took me 15 minutes just trying to find a route that was not on a hill so I could make it to where I was going right down in town. :p Oh well.
