Hehe, I was just about to mention the fact that the 89 has increased HP.
I still can't believe you think Supra's handle better then RX-7's.

we all ready have one but i never intend to hurt the rx7 in any way i whould love to own one it like one my favorit cars i told my body to buy one instead of a mr2 and the rest was up to him and he bought one hsi name eight track

and the 86 was most likly a littel dumb erro

but as i said befor the heavyer the car the more it will grip tot he orad but now lets try talkign about drifting supra are heavy it harder to drift in them caues they sway abit to much as rexs are easyer to control

that why they are very pop in japan for auto x and such things as that

as supra is bigger and you know

all so a longer car is harder to drifft as well

but don't diss the drap out of supra when you have never drive one i drove na befor turbo supra is way diffent even if there is 18 hp diff just go by the targa vertion and that should just afie it

so white fc did you ever hook up your bov whiht diffetn clamp yet or meatal pipe

Regardless of who's right and who's wrong, you shouldn't be in this thread telling us how great your supra is.

are you Rx guys forgetting about that horrible rotary lag down in the low rev's, and no im not talking about turbo lag, im talking about the fact its a high rev'ing engine that just wont pull down low...
and yeah i do love Rx7s, even tho i do own a supra ive owned a Rx7 before, infact at the time i convinced 4 of my friends to also buy Rx7s, we had a little army of Rx7s hehe it was cool.

but ever since i was like 14 i wanted a Supra, i just couldnt afford one until later on.

i dunno where you're getting these 16 second 1/4 mile times for supra's, ive seen track sheets from professional drivers cutting a supra turbo down into the 13's, bare stock.

its all on supra forums out of a magazine, i'll find it later.

I have a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch in my '87 Turbo II, it works great. If you can stay away from the stock clutch because it goes pretty fast in these cars.

As for mods on an RX7 though first thing I would do is get an exhaust but make sure it is a proper one for an RX7. The exhaust is hotter then a normal cars and it can burn through the wrong exhaust in no time. If you have the turbo model you can get a downpipe to eliminate the pre-cats. This will give you a lot more power and boost however you need to either get a fuel cut defenser or upgrade your fuel system or else your car will lean out and then....BOOM

well i know some stuff about clutches the lesss pucks you get on a clutch the shorter they will last the big thing on rex is there persure plates are so dang crappy and the fly wheels being so small

d frition clutches on supra don't last as long as stocker so i bet it is the same for the rx7

the clutch i whould liek ot buy for my car whould be trd one aka act stage 2

now if you where to choose clutches for center froce i whould try to get the center force 1 or 2 if you are pushing over stock caues dual frithion will not last

that is just my 2 cents care to add in any thing i got wroung or missed

Speaking of exhaust, any suggestions on what to put on my rex?
P.S. Anybody see the black 90 GXL at Honda City? Makes me wish I had more patience and shopped around more when I bought my GX. Ah well.
