I keep coming back to this thread and I keep meaning to go. Like seriously I have no excuse I live just over a 5 minute drive away but I haven't made the time. This week I will make an effort to go.

Edit: I plan on taking my son on Wednesday night.

w0w this guy seems really nice and dedicated to his customers
food looks really good

HonestTea 07-28-2008 11:12 PM

I tried it like a month ago and it was pretty good!

Very filling and you get your money's worth..as opposed to say...Tony Romas where it's mostly all bones with very little meat and the sides is good(two mac n cheese is overkill thought)

quasi 07-30-2008 09:04 PM

I finally went tonight. I thought it was good for the price I will go back.

hal0g0dv2 07-30-2008 10:15 PM

Just took some friends there again today, still great. Pulled pork sandwich, ribs, black eye peas, cornbread, peach cobbler, pecan pie, sweet potato pie...I ATE IT ALL AND IT WAS GOOD.

lol now I feel really, really full. I think I've done all I can to convince Revsceners to go there. If you're still just staring at my pictures on your screen, go there....seriously.

B-nAnA 08-10-2008 11:36 PM

the cornbread is well worth the trip...and the pulled pork sandwich

mmm the peach cobbler was also good for dessert

Liquid_o2 08-13-2008 03:53 PM

Went there last night with a friend. I had the pulled pork sandwich, it was unbelievable and so big. The pork was so tender and slathered in BBQ sauce. Cornbread muffin was also fantastic.
Had the Sweet Potato pie even though I was full, really creamy and smooth filling, the crust was nice and flaky.
My friend had the ribs, he said they were fantastic. Collared greens were good too.

He was saying that later on this year he will be making gumbo's, jambalaya's, and having a crab night possibly mmmmmm.

All in all I will be back there soon.

Jason00S2000 08-18-2008 07:25 AM

I hit it up with some friends the other day, and I must say, it is the best BBQ in Vancouver hands down!

In fact, I think these are the best ribs I have EVER had. The pecan pies was amazing too.

I sampled almost everything in the place and liked everything. The fries! Holy shit they are good. The hot links! Holy shit.

I will go back as soon as I have time. Delicious food. Absolutely the best BBQ in the lower mainland.

Durrann1984 08-22-2008 11:23 AM

went there a couple of days with gf

i only tried the ribs , bbq pulled pork sandwich
seasoned fries
cornbread and macroni

everything was delicious

i may have over hyped myself too much
the ribs were delicious ..but i havent had too much ribs at other restaurants to compare
i mean they werent nothing out of the ordinarybut it was one of the best ribs i've had
i'd go back for more

very addicting

the bbq pulled pork was BURSTING with flavors got dayaam!

the fries were good too...well seasoned

macroni was great.. busting with cheese
melted cheese

the cobler was alright..
its a nice little treat
but
could be better

Liquid_o2 08-27-2008 09:57 AM

Went there last night again, had the Boonie burger and fries. It was pretty good, maybe a little too much meat for my liking. I liked the Pulled Pork sandwich better. Had the pecan pie, that was solid.

godwin 08-28-2008 08:42 PM

The only quibble I had with the cobbler is the peaches were from a can.. other than that it was pretty good.

2damaxmr2 08-29-2008 02:10 AM
