anyone in HK have experience with importing a car from the UK? |
why do you want to import a car when it's cheaper to buy one locally? unless you are talking about london taxi... it's not difficult to import one, it's the tax that is high |
I'm actually looking at importing a Ferrari and using T plate. Any experiences? I know some ppl who can do it but I'd rather save 300K and do it myself. |

This thread is about Streets of HK (car pics). It's not about your experience with underaged prostitutes in Shenzhen. Back on topic please. |

Have you ever imported a car from UK? |
Let me google that for you. to research, fly both ways and get it shipped is peanuts compared to 300K your mate is going to charge you. shipping is at most 1000 - 2000 CDN for a container that's good for up to 4 vehicles. On HK side I'm not sure if the government will charge you tax during import but my guess is no because you haven't registered it yet and "commidity" other than cars for registration are basically free-for-all in HK. So do some research and take a relaxing Euro holiday and come home with a nice Ferrari is what I suggest you do. |
