ran into this guy on a Dai O touge run last year as well. Had to double take on it.... it's a RHD model too so it lived part of its life in Britain I think.

So I'm about 30 hours from my landing in HK and here's what I got so far. Apparently the great depression is amongst everyone and strangely enough I had not seen one exotic/highly modded thing on the road for the day I spent in MK....

It seems to be a "hip" thing to do to import one of these for like wedding vehicles. Some famous people with funny taste owned one of these. Recent models are built with Nissan engines so parts are not that difficult to source.

There's the famous "itasha" AE110 Corolla that I hope to see and capture whenever I can....

And for people in the know, can you guys tell me where does the SMD start? I want to snap some pics of them and chat them up if that's possible.

It's definitely a Lotus Exige. How do you not know that? So many in Vancouver/Richmond!

ok it's like 4:15am on a Sunday morning and I'm pondering whether or not I should go check out some SMD in my dad's base model Merc. Should I hit up 6 keng or Kowloon Bay???

hehe i've seen a couple of ssangyongs in HK but i've never actually met anyone who drove one, wonder if they speak...

R32 belongs to Shane which owns monster Garage in HK and the A3 belongs to Phoenix. I am pretty sure they are not Hyde's friends:rolleyes:
