Case in point, this skinny guy comes into the gym the other day, must have only weighed ~ 140lbs, loads on 2 plates on the bench rack, mutters to himself, for sparta, unracks the barbell and proceeds to drop it directly on his chest.

just upgraded from my RBC Gold Rewards to RBC Visa Infinite Avion, they waived the first year annual fee plus I got 15000 welcome pts

Make sure you don't miss a payment on your existing card. I received a letter for the infinite card a few months ago, I called the 800 # and the person on the other end denied me the card because I was late on a payment. I'll be able to retry next month. I also asked about the "black" visa card, the guy just laughed and said "only .5% of the Canadian population will be eligible"....after a long and awkward pause he goes "unfortunately you don't fall in that bracket.”

upgraded RBC Avion > RBC Avion Infinite Black Card and my suggestion if you don't want to pay the annual fee of $120 of the avion get the RBC reward gold

Holy thread bump, batman. From Sep 2008 to today! 
I'm still on the CIBC Classic Visa for Students because I'm a student and have just started having a steady income - have had the card for about 1.5 years now. It only needs $1,200 per year to start. I pay mine off monthly anyways so no interest issues with me.

Cuz I called in and asked for the switch from regular avion to the infinite and they switched for me no question asked
