I didn't miss the game, I missed 3minutes and 30 seconds of the ending of first period. Otherwise, I wouldn't of known it was 2-0 after one (period).

Hondaracer 02-12-2009 10:01 PM

damn, i was listening to the game while i was at work tonight streaming via my iphone when it died going into the 3rd period

the way the guys on 1040 were talking about it, i figured there was no way they were gonna come back tonight just because it sounded like they didnt have the fight like they did against st.louis, i was pretty suprised when i hopped in my car and turned on the radio to hear they won 4-3 :D

mako 02-12-2009 10:05 PM

Canucks are still finding ways to win even though Luongo's not playing up to his standards right now

nice to see these comeback games but its pretty hard to come back every night

quasi 02-12-2009 10:05 PM

I loved the heart after making it 2-1 then giving one back to make it 3-1 only to fight back for the win. The samething happened in the St Louis game and it shows that they aren't giving up which is a great sign.

Haha..me too! Except I didn't stream. Did you listen to the interview with SOB during the 1st intermission? Pretty funny how Larschied was poking fun at him for being back on the roster

Harvey Specter 02-12-2009 10:20 PM

It's going be a tough game tomorrow vs the Stars, hopefully we can leave with a point.

LOL anyone see the clip of Jason Smith getting a triple minor AND a 10 minute misconduct for letting up on a check on Kaleta? Basically, he could've destroyed Kaleta but let up on the check, held him up so he wouldn't have his face buried in the board, looks like he asks if Kaleta is okay, then Kaleta tries to fight Smith, they BOTH drop the gloves, and the ref gives Smith a triple minor (3 roughing?) and a 10 minute misconduct with Kaleta getting nothing. Now THAT is bad reffing.

I saw it on TV, but didn't know the circumstances.

First time I've ever seen a triple minor penalty... six minute power play.

anybody knows why the Canucks get to wear their home jerseys on the road? They wore the home jerseys at St. Louis as well.

No... there is no set jersey for home and away... but the generally accepted standard is that the home team wears the dark jerseys, but they're not obligated to.

The home team can choose whichever jerseys to wear... and the road team has to accomodate.

So basically, both St. Louis and Phoenix decided to wear their light jerseys for whatever reason.

That makes sense but didn’t the teams switch over to their away jerseys (at home) after the all-star break for the remainder of the season a few years back?

Were you referring to the EDM vs. DAL game? It was the Oilers doing the burning if that's the case.

4-3 Canucks SO

CRS 02-13-2009 09:55 AM

Since labarbera is in net...

I'm going to say... 5-3 nucks with an open netter.

Blasphemy! :D Canucks aren't going to hit the open net. :D

I was going to go with the high scoring game as it seems to be the trend with the Canucks, but seeing that Dallas has been on a hot streak as of late, the Canucks might tighten it up defensively a bit.

I'm going to say 3-2 Canucks.

LsquareD 02-13-2009 10:17 AM

4-2 Canucks!

murd0c 02-13-2009 10:20 AM

4-2 stars
