Damn you PPV! I'm missing an awesome game.. Wooo! RPM line! |
|
4-2 FINAL! WOOO!! Here comes another Road trip. Tuesdays game against the Flames is gonna be intense |
Huh. So that's how it feels. Line 1 and 2 scoring and a top notch goalie playing like his old self. Nice:thumbsup: |
Impressive win... zero penalties for the Canucks... fourth time in team history they've accomplished that. |
Did Price play a couple minutes then Halak went back in? |
I think the announcer just screwed up and said Halak is going to the bench? Good game by the nucks, damn the PPV, getting a good feed was hard.. Sundin line continues their roll and Sedins finding chemistry with Burrows! |
Game Summary shows that Price was playing for a few minutes http://www.nhl.com/scores/htmlreport...9/GS020840.HTM |
As in going to the bench, I mean when he was getting pulled |

Awesome game. Seeing the lines remain together after all this time and produce the way that i know they can.... it almost brings a tear to my eye hah |
yea i went to the game tonight [sorry no pics forgot my cam :(] and it was really great to see the line combo's remain the same the whole game the nucks pretty much dominated and kept the habs hemmed up in their zone creating a tonne of turn overs and stearing most of their chances on Lu to the outside really good game overall, just gotta keep building on the momentum and play the same style |

I watched the game at Northview Golf and Country. It was jersey givaway night. I won a brand new vintage Canuck jersey. Woo Hoo!! Great game, too! Burrows is a monster. |
Burrows not only puts out the effort, he's a smart hockey player. He's starting to take a lot of shots at the net. Not only are they the kind that handcuff goalies, it creates all kind of opportunities. The rest of the Canucks are following suit. You take a shot. If the goalie stops it and hangs on, you get a face off. And, with Sundin and others doing well on face offs, it's a good move. If the goalie leaves a rebound, it's open for others to bang in the rebound. Not a new concept, but the Canucks are doing more of it instead of passing off for a low percentage shot. No penalties taken by the Canucks is pretty amazing, too. Next up is Calgary in their home court. It's gonna be an uber tough game. I expect a hard physical game. Hope the Canucks don't get beat up too much. EDIT: Forgot to mention the interview Burrows had at the end of the game. I actually understood what he was saying and he made a lot of sense. His comments were pretty good. Not a lot of fluff like you hear from other players often. He almost sounded like a coach. |
the CGY game will be tough when Luongo isnt even in his top form these two teams are very similar when playing well. their impact man..iginla isnt doing well, but Cammallari is playing very hot, and so is our Ryan Kesler, we have booming point shots, but lack the toughness when compared to Corey Sarich and Celine Dion im excited, its been a long time since the last cgy/van game. and both teams are playing much different and BETTER since the last time they met |
Big win tonight and what a great game to watch. On a side note, I went out to Italian Kitchen for a late night dinner and while I was eating Pyatt walked in with a chick and some other guy. I had a quick chat with him about tonight’s game and he turned out to be a pretty nice guy. He joked around about his RR sport and how dirty it was and was asking my friend how kept his RR sport so clean. |
LU had some pretty nice saves... |

he must be pretty big and tall eh/ |
I think in terms of toughness, Bieksa can go challenge Dion. |
^ I'd love to see that happen one day =D |
