I wouldnt say that....first off, Regehr is tougher than both those guys....but Bieksa, Mitchell, O'Brien, and Ohlund aren't exactly pansies themselves |

do you guys believe the canucks will stay on the top 5 in the west conference? perhaps catch up with the flame ? |

To catch Chicago or Calgary would be really hard unless they have a bad stretch of games like Vancouver did after Xmas. Calgary has a 9 point lead with same amount of games played and we play them twice. They're 8 back of Chicago but they have 2 games in hand and we only play them once. If Vancouver can manage to finish 5th and play Chicago that would probably be the best case scenario (bar moving up) IMO. |

also, will we see the kesler/burrows pair come back together, since they can shut down iggy and cammalleri so well so well |
Like quasi mentioned, we're not going to catch Calgary. It would have to take a long string of bad luck with the Flames, and a whole lot of good luck with the Canucks to get ahead of Calgary. I think at this point, the Canucks have to keep getting wins to keep themselves in the playoff race. As you can see, 5th and 9th place is just 2 points away, so winning every game and keeping ahead of 8th is paramount. Also, the Canucks have to be somewhat strategic about who they play against. You probably don't want to play against San Jose or Detroit in the first round (OK, well, with how we do, maybe the Red Wings might be OK) and get bumped off before you can make it into the 2nd round. |
catching CGY will not happen..sigh..neither will be catching up the the hawks... but hey, theres enuff games left that the possibility might happen, theres 2 more games vs the flames for 4pts but yea...the nucks play the aves alot soon hope that fairs well |

Looks like Schneider is going to MTL for 2nd/3rd round picks. Quote:

I figure he'd be worth more than that...but then the Habs traded Huet for a 2nd round pick at the trade deadline last year, and Huet ain't too bad of a goaltender either... |
Lol last night at the game they did this little "rpm" thing on the big screen, they showed an "R" then a liitle clip of kesler and so on |

The poster of the news should have clarified that since this is a Canucks thread. My first thought was the goaltender and not Mathieu Schneider. Quote:
