Off topic, but I think its really cool that for the Habs and Avs game tonight they're going to be broadcasting the game in black and white for the 2nd period on tv. They're of course doing this because of Montreal's Centennial season. Letting the viewers see what watching hockey back in the day was like.

I wonder how long Luongo's luck will last by wearing his old school mask in his 1st year as a Canuck. The team can't keep bailing him out every game by averaging 5 goals a night. The team has to fire in all cylinders.

Luongo's performance is making me nervous, Canucks is not an offensive base team. Tho, we score tons of goals in the past few games, but i wonder how long it will go for.
If Luongo still lets the soft goal in, we will shit bricks in the next couple games for sure.

It always takes luongo some time to get back into his groove.

Don't think that's the problem. He just hasn't been the same since last season. I miss the old 06-07 Gladiator-like Luongo who was so fired up every game that he didn't want to even sit out a single regular season game, unless absolutely forced to do so. That's the Luongo I want, not last year's. :(

I like the fact that we've been able to come back and win after falling behind, but this isn't something they should be getting used to. Get off to a good start, get the lead, and keep it!

Yeah I thought he was on to something there for a little while. But as it stands, his good games this season aren't outshining his mediocre games unlike his 06-07 season. Hence, the I miss 06-07 Luongo sentiment.

Nope, the game vs the Avs when the Oilers missed the empty while the Avs were on the PP. A few seconds later the Avs scored on a 6-4 and beat them in OT.
