But once they get into the playoffs those restrictions are lifted so they can call up some mofos then.

Anaheim is going to push hard to win tomorrow vs the Coyotes. To get the 6th seed, they can avoid SJ or Detroit in the first round. So Columbus better win vs the Wild tomorrow.

They only dressed 15 skaters because Calgary is having serious cap issues...with their injuries and shit it's forcing them to dress limited skaters.

I find it pretty funny too. Isn't that a GM's job to make sure they take this in account. What if this happened in March right after the deadline? haha. And now they have to deal with Jokinen for another year. I'll take Cammelleri over him anyday.

Flames have been consistently dressing 16-17 skaters for the last few weeks due to cap issues. I guess that is the only way they could have traded for Oli.

well... the thing is... keenan was so keened on getting jokinen and i'm thinking he sort of forced daryl sutter's hand in getting him... hence.. cap issues....
they knew it was going to harm them... but it was worth a shot..
