"You still want this?" "...Diu..." I FUCKING LOL'D! These vids are AWESOME and realistic of what is occuring. |
Thanks for mirroring the downloads. Can someone explain how a CHINESE varsity club, which is operated by a caucasian, is somehow multicultural? Why don't they just call it the Varsity club? |

My beef with it: wrong to have a multicultural club when the club name has the word Chinese. Unless there was some plans with it? |
Reading helps. CVC was started wayyy back when there were a handful of Chinese individuals who wanted to play sports. You think they're just gonna change a name with so much history just because a white guy was running the show? Get serious. |
So what part of the CVC club is Chinese? I've done a bit of reading and, unless they're secretly discussing Chinese trends and culture, the CVC club does nothing but dance, bbq, hang out, and socialize. How does that have anything to do with Chinese culture, meeting other chinese people, or chinese trends? I'm sure they've mentioned the beijing olympics once or twice, or maybe mentioned a few chinese political news and agendas, but as they currently stand, this club with seemingly enough history to keep their misleading name, does nothing but SOCIALIZE. It's not even Chinese people socializing amongst themselves, they're openly inviting and recruiting people from all cultures. Nobody mentioned anything about changing the CVC name, but that wouldn't be a bad idea. Think about it, a club with a history of congregating other Chinese students to play sports has changed into a club that's mainly about socializing. No discussions on Chinese media, culture, or trends because they don't want to scare away non-chinese members. If this club wanted a more multi-cultural member base, they should taken the CHINESE out of CVC or created some other club, instead of making a self-racist video that only ruined their history and name in the eyes of the media. |

Tell me a club that isn't an excuse to socialize. :lol Anyway, it's been pointed out it's mainly a CBC club. What they're doing is they're making an effort to be inclusive, and I don't see anything wrong with that. They could have easily shut themselves off from others and we wouldn't be talking about them. Instead, they made some edgy videos trying to promote that but, at the same time, dissed some other clubs for their exclusiveness along with other things. And here we are, either we're laughing or taking offense. |

Some of these car club websites have other cars in them, and I guess they're being inclusive as well. But if Civic club was full of Lambo owners, they might as well call it civic club.. and if there was any civic people that wanted to start a club to meet other civic people, they'd start a new civic club altogether. CVC's club name has no meaning anymore, whereas other clubs seem to live up to their cultural club name. |
hey, things evolve over time cuz ppl change, new ppl join, groups get bigger, more v-v-v-ariety of interests get added, etc.. RS used to be mainly about import cars. Now we're talking about stupid videos on the internet! Where's the REV in that? Where's the Kentucky in KFC? :p |
UBC is already a big Chinese social club in itself. |
The "diu" was funny, the rest wasn't. |

FYI, the kentucky is in every chicken drum stick or wing you buy. It's the colonel's secret "original" recipe that was based out of Kentucky, Illinois. |
nothing wrong with that video. I found it very hilarious. |

You can rationalize it however you want. Obviously, I care more about what's inside something than what it's called. We'll just have to disagree on this . |
