I have to say initially I wasn't too impressed with the game, but after multiple games on higher difficulty settings it gets really enjoyable especially with a group of friends.

Nothing like having someone accidentally set off a car alarm alerting the zombies.. and two of you get separated from the group making a mad dash for the safe room. Of course just as you're about to slam the door shut a hunter jumps out and you get pinned down/beaten to death while your buddies are on the street level desperately trying to fight off the zombies while reviving a down team member.

playing online expert in subway. Impossible:(

We played 15-20 rounds on expert and couldn't get past the ammo reload part so we had to vote change it to normal difficulty.

The key to surviving is to NOT have all 4 members shooting at the same time. The best way to do it is to have one person unload a clip and then have the next person start attacking while the other person is reloading. I tried telling that to the other guys and the idiots would just spray and pray the second a zombie charges at them :cry:

I've managed to pass expert subway probably two or three times out of 30 runs. One time my buddy threw a molatov to stop a wave of zombies flanking us from behind bursting out of the vents when a smoker grabbed him and dragged him into the flames killing him. While we were trying to rescue him after he respawned boom hunter pins down one of my other friends and a tank comes out of nowhere knocks me across the room into a crowd of zombies. All i learned is corners are your friend and the melee pushback has saved my ass more than once.

yea expert is definitely hard, depends on luck too because when the Tank appears, it almost gg:( The farthest ive been is that room with the machine gun but got overwhelmed by the zombies.

Wondering if this game is worth getting, seems like theres only 3 levels more and level 1&2 are really short. Aside from 3 extra levels and verses mode what else is there? is that it? if so... not worth $50 lol

what you're seeing in the demo is 1.5 stages of the first level. There's 5 areas with 4-5 maps per section.

There is only one key to expert level:

SHOTGUNS, 4 of them at the same time.

you know its called DEMO for a reason right?

and you need molatov for tank

I haven't downloaded the xbox demo...but for PC demo, there's a witch near the machine gun (subway) and you can't do shit about it cause she runs god damn fast.

Tip: Hug a corner/wall, pistol whip nonstop. One hit kill basically, and it hits multiple zombies, i once killed 10 zombies, with one whip LOL. This is on advanced, works in expert too.

Hahah she is scary, esp when she pops out at the end of the demo. It's better just to avoid her if you don't have the M16/autoshottie/sniperrifle. Otherwise she'll probably kill one team mate before she dies.

on expert the melee doesnt kill them just knocks them back. Worst combo ever.. tank paired with a hunter and a smoker.

the only pc game i play is CS: Source..

so i was definitely assuming if i can run CS:S smoothly, i can run Left 4 Dead no problem, and yay, it runs really well on my comp

id definitely pick this over the 360 version.. mouse and keyboard is ur best friend for those trigger happy moments..

Get the PC version if you can run it cause there are already custom maps from Dawn of the Dead that are ready to be released in December :bowdown:

Thanks for that link.. first thing today that's cheered me up lol. That looks amazing... thankfully I have a group of friends ready to play. Hopefully the map will have increased spawn rates else some areas might look a bit sparse.

For the L4D demo, does it expire once the actual L4D is released? I read on forums that the trial period is 6 days, but when I started downloading it 2 days ago, it shows 5.3 days.

I was originally going to download it to play when I'm less busy, but seeing as how it's such a short time-limited demo, I don't think I'll download it anymore

id say if u have time to download it this weekend, do it.. basically its just a bait to get you to buy the game.... and LITERALLY.. i had no interest with this game about 4 days ago, i just wanted to see if my comp (that can barely run battlefield 2) can play this game, and yes its smooth as ice for me.. especially with 30 zombies attacking you on screen...

now im totally hooked and definitely getting this game..

its wierd, i died while playing the game yesterday with people online of 3.. and spawned me back up in the beginning of the level.. its not until i realize near the end of the 2nd level that i was playing by myself with 3 bots... because their names change from the username to actual character names.. the AI is pretty good..

does anybody know if it's possible to have more than 4 players co-op? i got 6 for a LAN and we all wanna do a run through together. there must be some cheat command or something.
