i actually find dead air the easiest of the 4 to defend.. just go back to the ramp where you come down from the airport to the runway and defend from there.. the mobs can only come in from 2 side.. only run out when the tank comes.. rinse and repeat til the plane arrives.. works great.. i find that mounted turret a trap lol it'll make u want to defend from there.. but usually it's real nasty there

for dead air me and my friends made use of the little closet on the back wall just past one of the airplanes and unhooked up fuel tankers. 4 lined up on the wall 2 shoot reload alternate then when the tank comes we all move out together.. get as much distance and one guy hucks a pipe bomb to get rid of the extra zombies that are still around. Usually each tank phase we go and reload at the minigun emplacement.

Those tanks can rip you apart on Expert mode..
Advance mode is tough as it is.
And the witch.. maaaaaan, I was BARELy even near her and she was startled and it was a one hit KO.

lol tank in expert mode 1 hit knocks incapacitate u ~~ which.. if u have an automatic shotgun.. go for the headshot :D turn off ur flashlight ;)

Sometimes when I hear Tank, I run into a room, close the door and turn off my flashlight :lol usually this happens when my friends aren't close to me (which happens a lot LOL ... I have a tendency to not keep up with them and go wandering around)

False fact. NOTHING can take off the safe house doors except TIME. After a certain amount of time, the door will auto open/disappear. I think you guys just let the time ding out so you got screwed

Another fact - Molotovs themselves don't actually hurt the tank. However, it does raise the damage of your gunshots to it, AND make it easier to see, especially in forest maps or dark maps


but what dub.g said earlier, so true. If rescue arrives, fuck your team, rush for the helicopter/boat/whatever. If you make it, they'll forget that you ditched them. If you don't make it, don't expect to be helped up even if they manage to fight off the horde rushing at them

wtf lol i was playing expert mode.. in blood harvest.. as soon as the game starts.. 4 tanks spawn.. not 1.. not 2.. not 3.. but 4?? wtf???? and it was at the spawn area where u pick up the weapons from the picnic table.. i've never seen 4 freakin tanks at once.. 1 in expert mode is already hard enough..

how do i bring up the console menu on pc?? i thought it's just pressing ` like cs??

it is, but you have to enable it in options menu... not too sure where it is... maybe in advance options

Tanks CAN and do rip open the safe house doors like fucking tin foil if you run back to the safe house when a tank is running after you. And tovs/anything flamable are the BEST way to kill tanks, its almost essential to have a molotov if you're fighting a tank in expert. Set it on fire, it does damage over time so once it sets on fire run like hell, kite it around, then if its still alive try to get it to loop or get it stuck somewhere.

This is strictly speaking 1 on 1 vs the tank if you want the MAN VS TANK achievement. 4 v 1 vs the tank obviously you can gun it down or set it on fire and run & gun it.


EDIT: I've only been playing expert co-op so maybe shits different in normal or other difficulties.

Also heres a couple tricks i've learnt, i've been playing a lot since my exams finished hah. Q or Quick switch + Melee, is an awesome glitch for beating off mobs quick, the Q just acts as a cancel and theres no wait time for melee. Also if theres no way around the witch, if you've got the auto shotty you can much 1 shot her for the "CR0WNED" achievement. Sneak up behind her with lights off, then as she gets up and starts screaming just land one good shot in her head and shes dead. You can unload on her if you want to be sure but you wont get the achievement.

anyone else started to get bored with the limited campaign/versus maps?

still havn't beat all campaign on expert.... but i think there is a need for much more maps...

i beat all the maps in expert mode and now working on achievements!
