My friends just started playing this. We suck, so far. We're having trouble with Death Toll on advanced. Tank keeps pwning us.

After playing everything on Expert, me and a friend just breezed our way through Death Toll in Advance, it felt like easy to normal. We just left our two other friends to get eaten by zombies. lol.

In Expert, what was really fucked up about the last map on Blood Harvest was the appearance of four tanks. One came after we left the safe house, another at the harvest, and the two at the end of the rescue call. That was just whacked.

working on expert maps, BH is retarded hard.

too many bugs in this game....

there is a way to do unlimited pipebomb/ molotov.... it just sucks when ppl do that on No Mercy Finale in versus

Advanced is too easy. Expert is fun because it's so challenging. The only campaign I haven't survived through is Dead Air, the last time I played it I got on the damn plane but a zombie hit me and knocked me down.

Don't worry, though. My ex's new boyfriend is such a wussy, he plays it windowed, on normal difficulty and with the brightness cranked up.

Had a fun game last night with Dead Air on advanced. I was playing with 2 other friends, and Louis (computer controlled) bought it. It was 3 of us vs the horde and 2 tanks. We managed to scrape by with very little health left, and just was I was getting into the plane, my friend shoots me in the stomach, because he thought I was a hunter, and I die, and only 2 survivors made it out. Good times :)

so i just bought left 4 dead when they had the 50% off sale...just got around trying it out...
and it's lagging! at first i thought it may be my connection...so i tried just single player and it still lags!...
the thing is my laptop is fairly new too...i bought it on boxing day...it's a dell inspiron 1525

it has a duo core 2.0 ghz and 3.0 gb of ram!!
i ran the cpu usage and it keeps stating that im using about 50% of the ram...is it because of this? any know how i lower the consumption?

i'm pissed that i can't run this game....i thought i exceeded the requirements for this game..or perhaps not?

change the in-game video settings. L4D lagged on my computer until i changed one of the settings (i think it was v-sync, but don't take my word for it)

Yeah turn off v-sync if you haven't.

or update your video card if nvidia.
the 6, 7, 8, and 9 series gave 11% increased performance on L4D.
