no plows at all eh?

I think they were just totally unprepared for this... when they forecasted snow for the past Saturday, the salt trucks were going full blast friday night. But today, it was suppose to be pouring down rain all day, so no salting was done, no plows were ready. Epic fail.

There's this silver BMW parked between Knight St. and 37th. Parked on the middle of the lane. Traffic was only one lane going up Knight St. Is this person a retard or something, seriously, you can reverse down a hill, how the hell can you be stuck and not be able to move. If you can't move up, then move down. It decides to park there. Wanted to pull over and shovel snow and bury his fucking car.

my driveway pile is about 7 feet and counting. biggest pile I've ever had here. I can't even see the road from the window anymore.

sadly, AWD/4WD with all seasons can still get stuck, especially going uphill.

If people can't drive in the snow, then don't come out at all.
ICBC teaches people to drive slower, not to drive better. I think that's the flaw with the system. But then again, many people do their test when there isn't snow anyway, so that won't make a difference.

But it pisses me off seeing these people blocking the traffic by going 20-30 km/h. Like wtf? It's just snow. Not even... It's slush. It's the remains of what a snow plow truck left behind. If people are so scared, stay home.

Roads are clear of cars now, but you can clearly see the snow is still coming down.

Screw that, I'm doing that in my Mazda3 with stock 4-seasons.
Now I don't know exactly what you mean by haulling ass, but when I'm going 50-60 in main roads, and everyone else is going a ridiculous 30, I consider that pretty ass hauling from my point of view.

And Kingsway is a big street, it's one of those streets that are never a problem when it snows, either it gets plowed very quickly or lots of cars have travelled there enough for the snow to be melted. I don't understand people that drive so slow in the big streets. Like I said, if they are scared or incappable, then stay home.

what i meant by hauling ass was getting through the snow with no problem and Kingsway at the time was filled with snow and the roads were icey, it wasn't cleared yet even though it's a road people always drive on

man it was VERY hectic on victoria going up that hill by commercial, was even worse by nanaimo station on nanaimo both had 2 buses fucked up and stuck, ended up getting stuck on this hill when we tried to detour, stuck for a good 45 mins while we tried to get out of the snow, ended up helping 3 others push their cars ot lol
