the lowest part of my car is the engine support crossmember, so much snow and ice gets built up on it it's rediculous.

i really feel sorry for my exhaust

the rest is fine

RenoMan 12-20-2008 04:16 PM

glad i dont have to drive 3 inches off the ground would be sucide

jimzilla 12-20-2008 04:16 PM

same here, i took my lip kit off and it looks like im 4x4ing now. Minus the dragging exhaust

Peturbo 12-20-2008 05:19 PM

From the snow we have now, my lip is only plowing the very top of the fresh powder.
But those ice blocks, usually on left turn lanes from what I've encountered.. just the sound of it hitting my under chassis...

greendb7 12-20-2008 05:52 PM

I've broken 2 lips on my Integra..
the first time it got caught in snow and ripped off and I ran over it
the second time one side got caught on a rut and ripped off and broke

yea i know what you mean

the lowest part of my car is the muffler in the middle of the exhaust, it's getting a beating.

also when it's cold my exhaust sits a bit higher so it's rubbing on my driveshaft :(

plus my lip gets filthy... it was fun doing drifts in the parking lot the first day, but now the residual snow and slush/ice is just irritating me.

Sweet2L 12-21-2008 12:39 AM

The snow is now at the bottom of my door lol the snow got all packed up in my wheel well and I couldn't make it up my own inclined driveway... the best is driving over the ice chunks and hearing the *ping* as it bounces off some integral part of the undercarriage

Leopold Stotch 12-21-2008 01:33 AM

... i cracked my lip *sniff*

hk20000 12-21-2008 02:02 AM

I really should wind my coils back up a bit. Oh well, I plowed fresh powder for all the way home at 4am.
