does langara have clubs? im going back to school again, and plan to get more involved in school communities

I think they do have clubs and they occassionally have booths set up in the foyer. Try the Langara Student Union building for info or the dude in the small office at the entrance to into the school like inside. I never bothered to join them cuz I have the mindset of going to school and just leaving.

Anybody take STATS 1181 before? I'm just wondering how difficult it is

Whats everyone schedule like atm?

monday tuesday thursday. 3 courses so far. All first years :/

is there anywhere I can find the counsillers schedule for their sessions they offer about studying, time management and program planning?

There is one in the B building near the First Aid post. They have drop ins or you can go in and schedule an appointment with an adviser.

ahhh too scared. Got an LET test tomorrow.

definetly not liking my schedule. Anyone familiar on the waitlists? For most of my courses i'm under 20.

^ You have a slight chance at getting in some/all of them. Just attend first week of class, even if you arent officially in the class. Some profs, will make an exception and put you in the class if they see you attending.

Got 2 as well, first time doing evening courses at Langara. -_-

Only got school mon/wed but wednesdays gonna be a bitch. School from 8:30-21:30 with 2 2 hr breaks in between

tuesday, weds, thurs, and friday from 9 tell 12:30.
i'll be at the fine arts section of school "basement". lol. not sure if i should take 3 courses.. or 4 ==''

For people who have classes in the evening do you pay for parking or park infront of the school after 6PM? I don't want to piss people off if I park infront of the school 5-10 minutes before the allowed time. It is no parking from 3PM-6PM i think?

Yea no parking and don't park in the "Passenger Zone" even if the sign beside it says "No parking from 3-6" cuz its just bullshit. Just don't park there and a lot of ppl park at the front of the school at 5:50ish anyways. You can always camp at YMCA and wait for it :rofl:
