the same thing happend to me, i was thinking WTF too, mine was for human resources management

so they said my chances of registering into the class is slim to none and told me to go all the way to fucking surrey for kwantlen or VCC for the equivalent course.

So what are teh chances of transfering from Langara too ubc and sfu? or would it be ideal for me to go to uvic and transfer to ubc/sfu? i'm not smart =(

^ to ubc, high. just do the outline they give u.. a lot of people seem to be doing that.

You do need to give a sufficient amount of work, college doesn't make things that much easier. And if you're even half a serious student, you would transfer no problem. Ironically thats something I'm trying to do right now, hopefully will be back in by next summer :)

Does anybody know anything about taking a course online such as Intro to Business? How is it like, and what do I need to know? And also how do we know if a course is transferable to university? Thanks in advance

^ that happened to me in the beginning as well, just have to meet some people to make class seem more interesting... its a lot better now that there's wifi to help you pass classes like English

debating whether to drop my stat1181 or suck it up... it sits at the 430-630 slot, kills my afternoons because of 4 hour breaks...

4 hour breaks suck.
I try to cram all my classes together and start early so I still have the rest of my day to do whatever.

Regarding online courses I feel that they're a lot easier because you can do it whenever you feel like it and you don't have to take the time to drag yourself to go to school and sit through a possibly boring class.
Intro to Business should be pretty easy though, most people get high Bs except for a few exceptional cases. =S
