For people who have classes in the evening do you pay for parking or park infront of the school after 6PM? I don't want to piss people off if I park infront of the school 5-10 minutes before the allowed time. It is no parking from 3PM-6PM i think?

The first ppl start parking around 5:45pm. Then by 5:55pm its all full, maybe luck out with a spot towards main st. side.

BaoTurbo 01-10-2011 05:59 PM

Apparently I'm guessing cuz I had a 6:30 class last sem, the parking outside fills up really fast cuz there are a lot of adults and drivers that go to school. I paid a few times parking behind the library, then I didn't pay near the end of the semester. Some people say they don't check at night cuz security can't ticket you, only the officer or whatever. Plus when I bought the parking ticket, most people don't take the ticket cuz it's useless anyways and leave it in the machine, but when I bought mine at night there wasn't any at all. I guess you can always occassionally park in the lot cuz its so much closer :D

Park near the doors for the pay lot and MOST LIKELY someone has paid the whole day for it, lol. Yay free parking!

Which one, work out gym or gymnasium gym. Work out gym, you're better off going to YMCA cuz idk where it is after 2 years so idk if we have one. Gymnasium is in the middle building underground :) gotta walk down the stairs to get to it.

Anyone take CSIS 2500? Friend said it was easy but I don't know which prof to take. I'm in Parvaz's class now and theres a seat for Koehler and 1 on waiting list for Sinn. Any recommendations? It's online and I asked Koehler if its the same matierial and he said somehting a long the lines that different profs mark differently. Got me worried...

screw the bookstore.

Everyone should jump on the ebook wagon.
90% of the books in the store you can buy an ebook from the publishers website.
I saved $450 by doing this.
ebooks cost like $20-$40
If you hate reading off the computer you are able to print the text out, some print shops will do it for $10-$20

The_Situation 01-11-2011 07:41 PM

Just go up to the line for selling your books back and make a sign with your course on it.
Hopefully someone will have your book.

TOS'd 01-11-2011 07:48 PM

^ lol, when i was in the bookstore today i saw some ppl just walking and hanging out around specific books. then when someone went to grab one, they would say "i can sell you my used one for much less".
