Yay, so choked about the bike lane. Anybody ever park in the residential area's :> Never tried but tempting for 1 hour classes. |
Same, thinking about that too. Parking spots are so tight, it's hard to get out. Any areas where there are less cars? Also parked in the yellow card lot :failed: |
:noob: Alberta street usually has tons of parking and you can also park on cambie. SOoooooooooooooooooooooo stupid they made the entirety of Quebec Street bike lanes... |
Ontario is the one they made into bike city :derp: Quebec and 50th alongside the church to main st usually have parking for early hour classes. If you have to park inside and pay i usually like to go underground or far side where no one parks. Parked with everyone else once and got a door ding  Luckily I dont have to deal with that anymore :troll: |
Ill try underground next time. I normally park where the construction area is at by myself lol facing ymca. |
I consistently see people parking in the residential zones! Usually you're safe because it's relies on homeowners to call in... unless the CoV happens to have officers roam around checking - only seen that happen once. Mentioned before, parking on Cambie near 52-54th isn't bad! Only takes 5mins to walk to the A/B building if you cut through the golf course path. |
^ old lady on another block sniped me coming back and chases me down to tell me to never park there again or I'll get towed (2low4tow doe :troll:) in spring time... Never again... |
I did that before for a few years, residential area. Parked a block away at this spot and never got in trouble. I parked there so often, people living around there thought I lived there and didn't bother caring. |
Bosssss. I didn't have the balls to do it lol |
Where the fuck do you guys park??? No spot in lots, no spot on 49, nothing on cambie, nothing on Manitoba, I was like an hour late today and when I got to class...teacher ended early :fuuuuu: |
Anyone see the bus lines at 4:30. Holy shit lol atleast 50 people each stop till cambie street Couldn't find parking ether :( |

Campus is super crowded this semester for some reason. If you have a 10:30 class like me GG with finding any kind of parking. If after waitlist ends and a spot opens is it first come first serve or still according to waitlist? Still neeed a spot in a very important class  |
Try 51st avenue east of main street; the first bit is 2hrs, but the rest aren't. Few of my friends used to park on 48th right near main street. I personally liked using 54th avenue west of Cambie cause it's relatively closer to the b building where I had class that time. |

I'm actually very proud of langara and how far they have come. When I first started there, there wasnt really a campus life. I guess these last couple of years they have elected a very good student union. In addition to the very successful looking opening week, it used to be like hamburgers and no seating, no sponsor tents. Plus these past few years have seen an increase in free cake! I went last year even though I graduated and it was already looking good but this year looked bigger and better. |
I have class at 8:30AM and 2:30 pm :( have to get an all day pass :( |
I picked my class during alotted parking times for 49th parking, monday - thursday, always found a spot. The park at 44th and Columbia has never been full for me. |
http://25.media.tumblr.com/1dca3c25b...04tvo1_400.gif only 3 girls in class..all the guys like |
Motorcycle parking is more full this year too. Coming in at 11:30am the bike parking area is practically full. |
What happened to the free moto parking by security anyway? |
