Good for you if you do! Go ahead and do take advantage of that 0.2 second in 0-100km/h and that 1.x second per lap.
But for me, I will no longer spend a shit load of money on wheels that will get me from point a to point b in the same way.

Like I said, I know for a fact that most of us do NOT track our cars.

Look at it this way:
2010 Audi A5 + $5k wheels
vs
2010 Audi S5

I hope you chose the S5.

Why so much hate on people spending good money on quality wheels? IMO, why would you replace good factory wheels with something not as good? I would have zero issues putting $5k wheels on a s5 or a5

With lighter wheels, forget about lap times, how your car responds to potholes and ruts in the road is worth it alone.

And not all factory wheels are better. And I know for a fact that lots of OEM BMW wheels are prone to cracks.

When I read "I would have zero issues putting $5k wheels on a s5 or a5", I interpret that as whether you have an a5 or a s5, $5k wheels are worth it. But clearly you meant it the OTHER way which meant YOU (the 0.01% of the forum) can afford whichever combo with no issue.

you can interpret my comments anyway you want, but believe it or not, people can have a difference in opinions than you and not be wrong.

Unfortunately not. I just did two local shows back to back weekends. This weekend is my time to relax and play paintball! :p Next time Ill be in Van is end of August for the Revscene summer meet!

German Car Festival Update:

Look for the "Audi Club WesterN Canada" white tent:

Where....

Audi of Richmond will be giving out the Audi Swag and they should be good prizes such as.... Audi Caps, Audi key chains (a few hundred.. yes), T-shirts, Hockey Jerseys (yes, I know... that is what the Audi Rep said) etc. Of course, there will be MORE of the prizes since Audi of Richmond will be there.

Event is on Sunday June 29.

Yes, there is NO RAIN on Sunday, 10AM and onwards.
