I would definitely buy this, since It looks great and it's at a good price point. Plus Hyundai has one of the best warranty programs out there.

If this sells like hotcake we can foresee the next generation 86 from Toyota soon enough.

It only makes sense.

Must get. Lot's of different models to choose from as well. I would prob go for the 4 cylinder in the premium or GT.

Both my parents already drive Hyundai's, I may as well join em. Going to have to wait till I finish grad school in 2012 though.

you get more HP with 94 according to Hyundai

but i'd definitely get a proper tuned ecu map to use with 94 octane and get the original 290HP+ out of the 4B11. with some bolt-on 400-500HP is easily within reach with this car.

the 4B11 is what made this car so attractive, if hyundai put the same old 4 banger from the Tiberon, no one would be interested in this car even if it was sold for less then 20k

Coupe 5speed - $33,999
California 5speed - $36,699
Convertible 5speed - $38,099
California Convertible 5speed - $40,799

the Hyundai badge ruins the whole car.

why didn't they bring the Genesis brand? I heard that Hyundai was trying to bring the Genesis brand here just like Lexus, Acura and Infiniti.

I wish they threw in sexier LED tails, and make the HVAC vents in the interior a little less toy-like.. Anyways, I'd hit it.. What bumper /skirt package is on the red one?

2.0GT for 30xxx I'm liking this. Just get a cobbs tuning ECU upgrade and that EVOX engine should be pushing EVOX numbers that's 280 290HP. It IS doing 210bhp with 87 octane gas for fuck's sake.

i think GM senses competition , hence their upgrade packages

Here is the Hyundai genesis coupe website. Showcases a very nice video of the car on a racetrack. Press the + and - buttons to see different angles.
