I dont understand why would you need to triple team Gasol .. In the end he is still pretty passive vs shaq(LAL times) who would just muscle you through when he gets the ball And the question of "fear in the paint": Shaq + Horry or even Walker (back then) or Gasol and Bynum? Not trying to go against or prove you wrong or anything =) |

I think Kobe did a pretty good job with Gasol though. And don't know much about Bynum other than he's always injured... Posted via RS Mobile |
any takers that bynum will get injured again? lol I am a huge LA fan, but every year its the same thing sigh* |
Bynum and Oden 2 Centers that if they stayed healthy made you wonder how good they could of been. That being said they are only 22-23 and both still have huge upside and really with Oden its just sad to see him sit out the whole year twice. |
^if you heard the news about portland, they are pretty messed up now with Roy and his legs. |
Yes.. Roy is playing with little to no cartilage in his knees but how does that relate to Greg Oden? I was only referring to Bynum and Oden's potential, not how good the Lakers and Blazers could be. That being said the Blazers future is looking awfully bleak. They have Batum to bank on for a few years if he pans out to what they expected from him after drafting him but the franchise guy suffering from a debilitating injury and the overall draft pick sitting out 200+ games in just 4 years, Not to mention another pick in Elliott Williams getting knee surgery and Joel Przybilla also a knee injury. Talk about bad luck with knees. |

Do not compare Bynum to Oden though. Bynum is not nearly as injury prone as Greg Oden and Bynum has already proven how skillful and talented he is. We have seen almost nothing from Greg Oden. I would add a 'yet' to the end of that last sentence but I don't think we are ever going to see much from Oden because he'll be healthy for 2 games and then sit on the bench for the rest of the season. Bynum over Shaq at 17-years old: |
Portland is so freakin unlucky... I feel pretty bad for them. First Bowie over Jordan, then Oden over Durant. And now Roy will never be the same. I don't think Oden's career is over though... someone in the league will give him a try. |
What do you guys think tomorrow's power rankings are gonna look like? I'm thinking top 10 will look something like this: 1. Boston Celtics 2. Dallas Mavericks 3. Miami Heat 4. San Antonio Spurs 5. Utah Jazz 6. Chicago Bulls 7. Los Angeles Lakers 8. Atlanta Hawks 9. Oklahoma City Thunder 10. New York Knicks |
So... Lakers vs. Heat on Christmas day, anyone flying down to see them? So many home games in LA for them two week holiday season!!! Posted via RS Mobile |
