anyways , i`m sure the Heat will be fine once they learn to move without the ball, play rotation and help defence, and they`ll spread the floor with Mike Miller which they desperately need right now

or they can trade bosh for some tough big men

they were SLOW pace-wise. Come on now.

WTF, Lakers lost their first game today to Denver. Outscored 33-19 in the 4th.

Kobe had a terrible shooting game, 11 for 32, 3 for 10 (3pt range) 9 for 13 (FT). These percentages doesn't help me in fantasy pool haha, since I have Kobe.

Kobe often shoots real shitty in big games, however, usually he has his big men bail him out...Unfortunately for Kobe, Pau shot 6/17 himself.

LOL, c'mon....LAL has the best roster, and the best bench in the game hands down. It's not even debatable. And this is coming from someone who HATES the Lakers.

Beasley is ripping it up in Minni. It looks like he's their #1 scoring option now.

Lakers lost last night too. That 3rd quarter run by the nuggets killed them.

Qmx323 11-12-2010 12:18 PM

anyone here think the record for most assists in a game (30 by scott skiles) is potentially going to be broken by rajon rondo

You'd take Glen Davis, Nate Robinson, Marquis Daniels, Jermaine O'Neal, and Shaq, over Lamar Odom, Matt Barnes, Steve Blake, Shannon Brown?

Celtics bench is good but there is no bench that is as versatile and talented as the Lakers bench.

Lamar Odom is a top 3 player on most teams. He is one of the most versatile players in the league.
Matt Barnes is a top defender, frustrating to play against, and again, very versatile.
Shannon Brown is stupidly athletic.
Steve Blake would be starting over Derek Fisher if it wasn't for Fisher's veteran experience.

Big: Odom > Glen Davis, JO, Shaq
SG/SF: Barnes, Brown > Marquis Daniels, Robinson
PG: Blake > Robinson

Are you sure you'd take Celtics bench over LA's?

liu13 11-12-2010 06:06 PM

^ stopped reading after calling Lamar Odom a top 3 player on most teams

Raptors upset the Magic tonight, i usually like it when the Raps lose but this upset was fun to watch

Utah Jazz is looking good

Okay....so you don't think Odom is a top 3 player on most teams? Does the fact that he's a triple-double threat every night mean nothing?

G-spec 11-13-2010 08:09 AM

gotdang talk about beast mode, Kevin Love 31 points and 31 rebounds against the Knicks !!

1-Slicer-1 11-14-2010 10:24 AM

...waiting for liu13's response as to why Lamar Odom wouldn't be considered a 3rd best player on most teams...

I guess that's just a difference of opinion then, but I value the Lakers versatility off the bench over the celtics hustle off the bench.

And again, this is coming from someone who truly hates Kobe and the Lakers. Are you by any chance a Celtics fan?

Im a lakers fan, but I do agree with Bostons hustle. Especially nate and big baby.

Something I think the lakers lack when they loss Farmar and Ariza.
Brown is pretty explosive though

he only goes left, his dribbling is horrid, his jumpshot is just average, he has no post moves, he's not fast at all

he might have been a top 15 player statistically if he stayed on the clippers but no way a top 5, he's straight up too dumb

Wait, you are saying he wouldn't even be on the starting line-up on most teams? I don't know why you are talking about top 15 and top 5 for. Sounds like you are talking about top 15 in the entire league, while I'm just talking about being the 3rd best player on a team...

oh i misunderstood then, yeah as a 3rd option he's great no doubt
he is the Lakers' top 3 player i dont know why you restated it to apply to most teams

on most teams he'd be a second option or a first option on a garbage team
