Not understanding why Camelo Anthony... ahem... the Knicks let Lin simply walk and rely on Raymond fucking Felton and a washed up Jason Kidd who was going down the hole fast last season. I guess the Knicks will always be the Knicks. No wonder Phil Jackson scoffed at the idea of coaching them.

Darryl Morrey is such a dick though, offering the 3rd year at 15million. Both Asik and Lin. I think it's gonna come back and bite him and Houston in the future. It's by the rule but such a bitch move....

411ken 07-16-2012 09:37 AM

I don't think the rockets are worried about Lin's linsane contract. He could avg 10-15pts as a starter and his merchandise will sell like hotcakes. So they could easily make the money back and then some.

Then again. Kwame brown got paid 7mill last yr without doing shit all so I guess Lins contract is a steal lol

Obsideon 07-16-2012 11:13 AM

Phoenix and Houston are still gonna suck next year.
Losing Scola was a big blow and obviously without Nash the Suns are in full rebuild, even Scola and Gortat won't be able to hold the fort.

GLOW 07-16-2012 12:05 PM

at least phx got dragic back. he's a good player IMO
i was reading all the luxury tax NY would have had to pay to get lin. wasn't it something crazy like in excess of 40 million??!!

dachinesedude 07-16-2012 01:54 PM

ok didnt think ny was gonna sign another pg, no way lin is gonna be in ny, they'll be crazy to match

bballguy 07-16-2012 02:07 PM

Phoenix will be respectable; not saying they'll make playoffs, but they'll still be a respectable team with Dragic, Dudley, Beasley, Scola, and Gortat...

Grant Hill joining the Clips; Jamison and J.O. joining the Lakers; Nets re-sign Humphries for 2-years/$24-mill; Lakers pushing hard again to land Dwight.

G-spec 07-17-2012 11:16 AM

^ What the fuck, Brook Lopez got max deal and Hump gets this 2 year bullshit?
They absolutely went with the wrong guy, Hump is already better than Brook at everything and he is only gonna get better and better, while Brook has already hit his ceiling

GLOW 07-17-2012 11:58 AM

dam i was hoping hill would go to the lakers. jamison to the lakers seems like a good pick up....

bballguy 07-17-2012 12:52 PM

Knicks have decided they won't match for Lin; Wizards are about to amnesty Blatche, who could be a great pick-up for the right team.

i-VTEC 07-17-2012 01:54 PM

Anthony Davis just had his welcome to the NBA

wow Lakers is really pushing their roster this year. I would think LAC has an upgraded roster with Odom and Hill. Looking forward to it.

Oh and of coz, the Heat, wow is looking better on the paper than last year.

^ Wow those comments are unnecessary =\

dlo 07-18-2012 12:30 AM

cant believe he signed with houston tho.. lol team that cutted him too

bballguy 07-18-2012 12:43 AM

^lol why can't you believe it....Look at the money he's getting paid by them, and he, along with the rest of the world, is pretty shocked that the Knicks didn't match Houston's offer...Either way, "New York" didn't "give him a chance" as those retards are commenting on his status. D'Antoni gave him a shot, and it was only because of some injuries and whatnot....If he has anyone to thank for his recent success, it's D'Antoni....and the Knicks fired him anyway...

dlo 07-18-2012 12:56 AM

Well joining a team that cut you? Fuck that shit lol this guy can be making 6 figures with his havard degree too, didn't think that kind of money is what he was chasing, I would had easily said no lol guess its different views

411ken 07-18-2012 06:50 AM

These comments crack me up... Did the Knicks even try to offer Lin anything before he signed that offer sheet?to my knowledge... No. I bet the knicks are hoping that he wud sign a cheap offer sheet that they cud easily match. But didn't happen.

As for Lins decision. Who gives a shit if they cut u before or not. This could be his ONLY shot at a big payday and for only 3 years. Don't tell me u wouldn't put the ego aside and give up that 15million pay for the 3rd yr lol

I think the ppl that commented on his page were just angry cuz they jumped in the bandwagon and bought his jersey lol

GLOW 07-18-2012 07:28 AM

ya that's what i don't get with all the hate comments...they didn't match...could they even offer? i thought they can only match and they didn't ...

now they got jason kidd and a recovering baron davis... 2 allstars ...and raymond felton??? :troll:

it's restricted free agency. knicks decided not to match....they could have but didn't. jalen rose thought the knicks should have matched too.
