I checked it out today. I was looking at the Viewsonic 37" for 400 which is a good deal but for some reason, I dind't think it looked that great. Then I saw a Sharp Aquos 1080p for 700. It's 300 more and it's 1080p and has a name branded I trust more so I was leaning towards that.

And yes, that Shannon chick is hot.

Viewsonics biggest problem IMO is that the are a "monitor" manufacturer,so universal remotes don't have a code to use and you have to use two remotes.

are their TVs ok? I'm planning to get a few new TVs.

sh0n 07-12-2009 05:39 PM

Any updates on the openboxco?

Has anyone on RS actually brought a tv or anything greater than $500?

How has it been for you overall the product and experience.

Anyone know where the inventory comes from? Stolen?

Harvey Specter 07-12-2009 06:14 PM

Sounds like this place is a front....

CRS 07-12-2009 06:29 PM

It is ALL refurbed stuff if you read this thread.

I cannot say for certain but this seems to be the general trend. Someone should go in there and ask.

rslater 07-12-2009 09:10 PM

I didn't think they were refurbished, but rather open box products that chain stores can't sell? Like beer bottles, when ones breaks, you can't sell the pack kind of thing.

bobyu 07-12-2009 09:39 PM

so are there any other TVS that not listed? Im planning to buy 1080p but they dont have many choices. Looking for like 37-42 inch

DanHibiki 07-13-2009 03:48 AM

Yes there are tv's there that aren't listed on the website.

or they might be display models? i dunno... but if they were unsold/unused, i don't understand why they wouldn't have a full manufacturer's warranty

Mugen EvOlutioN 07-13-2009 07:17 AM

!SG 07-13-2009 08:41 AM

hmm, think ill go check it out. looking for new laptop anyhow =/

bobyu 07-13-2009 09:15 AM

This is rather weird. I mailed them the other day about their TV products and they replied that they change their TV products every week and have new pricing every week.

Im just wondering how does that suppose to work? Have different TV models every week?

they have limited supplies of each model... once its all gone then they get in another load of TVs with probably a slighty diff model...

pandalove 07-13-2009 10:52 AM

No pics of Shannon Chan makes this thread fail
