i bought a tv there couple of months ago.. and when i asked the bald white guy with side burns where the tv's were from he started talking real loud causing a scene saying they were all returns or some shit.. i was just curious, cuz i was going to buy the tv anyway since it was brand new in a box..

I don't get it. Why did he cause a scene?

For the people who bought ipods, what is the general condition of them? scratches? obvious usage?

Hondaracer 12-31-2009 10:26 AM

^ they are all brand new i think

TOS'd 12-31-2009 10:35 AM

^ Really? I heard from most people that almost everything was a refurb..

Hondaracer 12-31-2009 12:43 PM

i dunno when i went in there last im pretty sure they had the box and everything there, so maybe refurb but they are mint if so, its not like its all scratched up and used

prices have gone up since they started advertising on the radio and opened a 2nd store though, fuck was super tempted to get the Sony LED tv they had

Iceman_2K 12-31-2009 08:21 PM

I picked up a Sharp Aquos 42inch 1080p for 700 a few months back. TV was brand new in the box unopened. They had one on display and pulled mine from the back. Full warrantee from them. The tv has been great, no issues. I'd definately go back and get other stuff if i needed to.

expect every ipods to have some scratches
some are very clean but some itouches are so badly scratched, you can't barely even read writings on the back
but it's only backside, front face is always clean
They dont let you open the box and cherry pick so your luck

hm.... i just looked and there prices werent that attractive, the 32gb itouch is only around 30 cheaper than retail

Hondaracer 01-02-2010 11:50 AM

like i said, theyve raised prices since opening a 2nd store and radio advertising

more people coming = higher prices

keitaro 01-02-2010 04:47 PM

does anyone know if they carry blue-ray players and other sorts for home theatre equipment?

thumper 11-19-2010 01:33 PM

new store opening in vancouver this month, with supposedly better days/hours than the surrey location:

http://openbox.ca/
1618 SE Marine Drive

DJ Milk 11-19-2010 10:37 PM

That store was supposed to open last year. The signs and everything was up and then it all just disappear.

tofu1413 11-19-2010 10:41 PM

thats pretty close to visions..

DJ Milk 11-19-2010 10:45 PM

Yes it is. It was supposed to open up last year near Fraser and Marine.

huh. i was not aware of that at all. i just saw a small ad from this place in the chinese buy/sell and noticed that the address was in vancouver... i haven't been able to confirm if the shop exists or not because i'm in surrey now :(

SuperAman 11-20-2010 05:06 PM

Well I bought a 47" LCD off of them, basically straight from the display to the ground with shrinkwrap and into my car. However I did get a 1 year warranty. TV had some scratches on the stand and was missing the manuals

yot065 11-20-2010 09:19 PM

I bought a Tv from there. still working fine and dandy. love my cheap 175 dollar hdtv lol

dub.g 12-08-2010 09:22 PM

so is the vancouver store open?

anyways im going to make a stop there thurs morning i want to pick up a 32' 1080p vizio

so they just shrink wrap it for you? how are the conditions? they only sell return products and not demo units right?
