so did anyone buy a TV from them yet? |
Oh nice, ipod nano $100!?!?! damn thats a good deal, and headphones only $10 naice! |
I bought a tv from them last week. I just went there to check it out and see that everyone who went in bought a tv so I had to join in on the fun. That fun cost me $515 :spin: . Most of the TVs was the latest models that you would find for sell currently at the big name retailers. I think I'm gonna get most of my future TVs from there now. |

how is the warranty on tvs there? can you buy extended warranty? i need a decent 42"+ plasma for cheap |
Damnit! The hours are retarded, I need a decent laptop for some school work at a decent price |
i bought a 52inch sharp lcd about a year ago for 1300 tax in and more recently bought and 42inch LG 120hz there a month ago for 950 tx in..both tvs are still working fine...and both were hundreds below futureshop prices....u should be careful though some tvs are from costco which have a 90 day return policy..always ask the sales guy where the tv came from..for the most part they can tell u. and btw shannon does not work there anymore lol |
SAMSUNG 50" HDTV DLP $299 ^ da hell? that seems pretty good to me. |
I brought 2 TV's there during the last 3-4 months. One was a Sony 720P 32" - $550 tax in pretty decent as I saved about 200-300 at that time. Colors are nice and the set was relatively new - still had the box Other one was a Sharp 1080P 37" - $625 tax in. This unit was the last one there and was quite scratched up. I suspect this one was from a BE as it didn't have a box and when I asked the staff where it came from he was very hesitant to answer. Overall I probably saved 200-300 bucks as well. The unit itself took a bit of time to collaborate but overall it's decent and serves its purpose. The funny thing is that the Sony 720P has way better colors (deeper blacks) Some advice for the people who are interested in buying from openboxco. - Ask where the TV came from - Ask for the box, manual - Stay away from the asian reps (they really don't care about the job) - Try and get one of the owners to help you (older caucasian men in the office) Oh and I have to agree the time that I was there and saw Shannon - she was hot! A cute little tanned shortie with aftermarket enhancements and a smile to die for! Too bad she doesn't work there anymore :( |
