blarblarblar go blow a unicorn. Breaking the law does not make you a criminal.

You've already been proven wrong but what the fuck do you have against pot users anyway.

In any large group of individuals such as doctors, lawyers etc, you are bound by statistics to have a percentage of individuals who partake in a given activity. However, just become some professionals smoke marijuana it doesn't mean that it's either a legal or positive activity. A professional designation does not mean its holder has a strong moral compass.

If prescribed by a doctor to treat some sort of mental illness then I see no problem with it. Some forms of mental illness are successfully treated with SSRI's such as Prozac.

If however you are referring to recreational prescription drug users, then I would argue they belong in jail right beside any other criminal.

Apples and oranges. Having a beer while watching the Canucks game or drinking a glass of wine at a business meeting does not entail either breaking the law, supporting organized crime or smelling like a dumpster.

He's not implying that you're breaking the law by drinking. He's implying that alcohol is a drug too.

as is caffeine...

But if legality is the only reason you hate on marijuana, then get your head checked. Following the law letter by letter doesn't make you a perfect person.

and weed does not smell like trash, it smells like weed.

It's called FREEDOM which gives the ability to make the choices which your personally feel right. If you don't like it don't preach to people it's not right this place is shit because we express are choice of FREEDOM in which thousands of people died for to give us this oppertunity.

I know your going to come back saying it's still against the law bla bla bla but shut that fuck up and stop trying to make everyone do what you want to do and live with it.

This is Canada. You can protest whatever you want, wherever you want.
So, 5000+ people that all have weed can get together any where they want? Hmmmmmm maybe next year they will have it in Metro Town, or maybe they will go down to the Vancouver convention center. Get your head out of you ass. This "4/20 celebration" was a protest to try a get it legalized. Most if not all protest rallies are held at Vancouver art gallery. I had heard it had special zoning, but I was not 100% sure. That's why I said correct me if I am wrong! Don't have to be a dick about it.

Correct, there is nothing in the criminal code about possession. It has been decriminalized. It is illegal to distribute. You will find that in the criminal code.

Its people like you who live there life's in a glass bubble worried about everything that happens. Like why did you feel the need to jump in? Why do you want to argue about something that to you is apparently irrelavant.

Tell me, why does this matter to you so much? Why do you feel the need to go off on me?

Ps - I did not attend 4/20.

I'm anti-weed because I get near-deathly ill from even just the smoke. That right there is reason enough for me to fight against it becoming legalized.

^ That's fair. Do you feel we should make peanut butter illegal because I know a few people that if consumed would die without immediate attention. Or bee's, maybe we should kill them off.

Cue getting into a bubble.

You don't get attacked with a sudden cloud of peanut butter walking down the street, or sitting on your porch.

Next.

Edit: Yes, people are highly allergic to many things, some of which can't be controlled (bee's, pollen, etc). However, I'm not going to willingly give up control of my life so people can feel euphoric by smoking some plants in the house next door. I can't even go to concerts anymore because of the amount of weed.

I really don't understand the people that are so strongly against the recreational use of marijuana for no reason other than the fact that it is prohibited by law. There is tons of evidence out there that shows cigarettes as being significantly more harmful than marijuana and yet cigarettes remain legal. Also, there are a number of things that are legal now that were prohibited in the past so you can't say something is inherently wrong just because it is illegal.

Actually, seeing that vid with that many people all there together, and that much smoke rising in the air, and no arrests being made, makes me pretty proud to be Canadian.
