I would assume it's because of the import taxes, I've heard import taxes can be as high as 100% for exotics.

You need connections to get your car licensed in China.... it's not as easy as it's used to be anymore.

One of the local 670SV was shipped back to Hong Kong and was going to head into china for sale, but it ended up getting blocked and he had to ship it back to Vancouver to sell.

Probably because his parents don't know about it haha…..Mostly likely hides it when his parents come and visit and just drives the usual white 3 series or C class when his parents are around. If he's balling then he would have no problem shipping it to china and paying people to get it registered there.
