Evora looks weird, it's heavy (for a Lotus ;) ) , it's expensive and the backseats are useless.
Exige or Elise S> Evora, if you want a less hardcore car then I would choose a Porsche 997.

evoras are for people like me who can't fit in an elise/exige without a crowbar

rear seats are only there for insurance purposes i'm guessing?

evora only if it's leased because of said depreciation?

Well, the Evora is the only street legal Lotus available (new) at the moment. Too bad because that new Elise/Exige looks wicked (and also has the same Toyota V6 as the Evora(S)).

Hondaracer 11-26-2014 05:18 PM

There is a white Evora that goes to BCIT

It has some gorgeous angles but like most lotus's it has a lot of weird looks to it as well

jinxcrusader 11-26-2014 07:56 PM

Why are the Elise and Exige not street legal?

They are. Lotus is just not building them anymore.

donjalapeno 11-27-2014 02:09 AM

Yeah i would choose a 997-50 over a Evora anyday.

Not local but I believe this might be the first LaFerrari in Canada which belongs to Robert Herjavec from Dragon's Den.

They are most definitely still building them, it's that their airbag exemption has expired.

c'mon man, you are not comparing apples to apples, that is a $175K+ anniversary pcar vs a $60k used Evora. A $60K early gen 997.1 is a completely different animal.

Saw those on FChat a couples months ago. He took the car to LA for the Ferrari 60th Anniversary event. Don't know if it's back in Canada again lol

License plate takes away from the rear end so much. They need a better mount!

These are the kind of people that...have too much money and don't give two flying fucks about their cars. Fuck these guys.

The world is not fair. /rant

Energy 11-28-2014 10:40 PM

All the dirt and gravel from the ground get stuck on the guy's shoes and then he steps on the roof of the car... makes me cringe.

Dudes ball enough to skateboard on his P1, let him be. Next up hes going to be skateboarding a OEM carbon exposed Bugatti Vitesse. Just comes to show money talks in Vancouver. Lets just enjoy the local hypercars we have in a respectable manner and leave what the owners choose to do with them to themselves.

Also id like to thank 1exotic for the epic shots, imo hes the GOAT, worked his way up and now hes getting the recognition he truly deserves.

jing 11-28-2014 11:16 PM

It's a clear demonstration of the P1's structural rigidity

sekin67835 11-29-2014 12:20 AM

I should respect someone who doesn't respect their car. Oh right it IS their car. I'm sorry, I have no business sucking up to his ass. Cool story bro.

It is exactly because I enjoy these cars that these type of behaviour makes me sick. So no, I stand by my words.

Always solid discussions when it comes to parent powered rich kids :smug:

When I was in high school/college in the late 90's, early 2000's you were the man if you were rolling in an Integra GSR, and if you had a Type R.... fugget aboooout it, you were Paul fucking Walker or Vincenzo Diesel...
Even the richest kids from the West side at most, they were rollin in $50k Benzo's

This generation of rich kids we're seeing nowadays is failing on a level never before seen in this city, they are on a warpath to blow the earnings of the money their last generation of parents/grandparents have probably worked hard to attain. And it's a lot more than just buying expensive cars, I'm not just talking about that and I also speak from personal experience....
But their next generation or probably the one after that is pretty much fcked... and yes I'm fully aware that's a somewhat broad generalization, but I'm more right than I am wrong otherwise I wouldn't have made the post
