Yeah it's pretty weak. Best case scenario is you'll have a game where you have 100-200 ping and the host has 0 ping. Sound fair?

no matter how good you are with the controller, the best KB/mouse player will always own the best controller player

^ that's in your opinion. I rather suck with a kb/mouse so I much prefer a controller for FPS. Oddly though I only like the PS3, I hate the Xbox controller as when I played through Halo 3, the sticks were very "all or nothing." I found it hard to line up precision shots.

I also don't see how people were able to play CoD4 on a keyboard, it just requires so many keys and I had no clue how to map them all to reachable locations so I cut some out.

That picture is from the digg front page. A close friend is going nuts over this crap and it's basically all I hear all day. He's on a quest to cancel as many preorders as he can lol. He sold me on it pretty quickly (I cancelled my preorder) but I will reserve final judgment for reviews of the game. At this point I don't plan to buy it unless the multiplayer experience ends up being drastically different than anticipated.

I'm the exact opposite lol. I just can't do FPS games with a controller. I wish I could, I would get MW2 for the ps3 for cheap.

beyond that is it even from anywhere reliable? until it comes out I wouldn't believe anything online. hell even if they do use a different system they may have improved severely on it (I still have a beef with CS:S not letting me search for servers based on the name, just alphabetically and by map :mad:)

I'm the opposite of you, I hate the PS3 controller. I can never play anything on it. I prefer the weight and feel of the 360 controller, it feels so much better in my hands haha.

If my PC was up to date I would get it for my PC. Even though I like the 360 controller, I can rape anything and anyone with a KB/Mouse.

I'm most likely going to be at the burnaby best buy at midnight. Are all stores giving away the 4 pack of monster to the first 75? I think I'll need that the next day.

I can still never seem to be able to reach all the buttons properly, although it's a big improvement over the massive original XBox controllers :lol I was so surprised when I first picked up a PS3 controller after my brother took it out of the box. We thought we had to pop a battery in but couldn't see a door for it so I just shrugged and hit the button. The dualshock 3 is a good bit heftier but I still think vibration is a useless feature for gaming.

So tempted to get a leaked copy when I saw it in the mall today. But since I can't connect my Xbox to XBL now unless I get the over-priced adapter, I will wait til the premium goes down in a few weeks :(

Finished the campaign yesterday, storyline was decent. Would give it about 8/10. Now I got my MW2 pre-ordered for the PS3! Can't wait to go online!

meh alright. Do people actually play more than 9v9 on the PC? what a gongshow that would be without insanely huge maps. besides, it's their game, maybe they decided they don't like people modding it and messing with guns they have pretty much to spec (as I was told). personally I hate playing a PC game online and when I join a server find out that they have all kinds of retarded mods running, and have to change servers 10 times to find a normal games. HEAVEN FORBID anyone plays a game the way it was designed.

^ actually it's not that bad considering it's roughly the same MSRP in US..i thought they would jack it up to $200 here intially
but it doesnt seem rare enough and useful enough to justfy the price
