So I'm still kinda confused about the storyline after beating the campaign.



I'm really impressed with how many guns you an choose from in this game, and how most of the SMGs/rifles randomly appear with iron sights, red dot, holographic, or ACOG. Makes for a ton of variety. I really dig the MP5k, UMP45, and Vector KRISS, especially when they have red dots.

anyone playing pc multiplayer, how is it?

grabbing my copy after i sleep for 4 hours :) WOOT!

Got Prestige last night at surry, but Xbox version. I want a PS3 version... anyone wanna trade their PS3 Hardened edition with Xbox Hardened or trade the whole Prestige edition?

There were well over 100 ppl at Surrey central. 22 Prestige for Xbox and 4~5 for PS3. Futureshop in same location has 5 for each and was gone for pre-order.

AWESOME. It's even better than MW1 IMO.

Wicked game. First thing I thought was how colorful the online maps are haha.

Is it just me or do you find that 1) cod4 seemed more realistic whereas this is more arcade? And 2) it's pretty easy to kill people online?

^ it should feel easy compared to MW1 unless you played hardcore because everyone had the health bonus on at all times. So it was a PITA killing people in non-hardcore matches.

someone please tell me there isn't a Juggernaut-esque perk in MW2

can u play co-op?? during story mode with a buddy?

the PC version is out already? how is it not having dedicated servers?

pc version? I have ps3 version.

Mugen EvOlutioN, co-op for up to 2 ppl only I believe, which is a let down imo.

MP is changed on how to invite friend on PS3. I think it's worse. It's using the friend list to invite and it takes a little longer to get the invite done....

no the campaign is still purely a single player game, despite majority of the missions involving several of your AI soldiers running around with you


Spec Ops is a seperate co-op campaign that is apparently longer than the main single player game itself

although its only limited to 2, which im kinda bummed out,
was looking forward to at least 4 people or like the Nazi Zombie gameplay, but with actual territories instead of the living dead..

was anyone having problems connecting to a multiplayer game last night? i got booted out twice.. and i only played less than an hour soo. too tired and late after picking it up at the midnight launch

no problem on MP with PS3 which is kinda suprised. :p
played like 3 mp games until 2am and never got kicked out.

MP for the most part went pretty smooth for me.

The issue I have is connecting to some friend's sessions and vice versa. My PS3 has Nat 2 which is suppose to mean that the connection is working perfectly behind a router but I get "the gaming session you are joining is no longer valid" when I try to join games that friend's invite me to.

is the no party chat thing bothering any of you?

dumb questions
1) Do i need a CD/DVD drive to play? My computer doesn't have an optical drive, I don't mind hooking it up for the installation, but do I need to keep it and have the original disk in the drive to play everytime?

2) I pre-ordered from dell few months back, unfortunately they are not shipping it until next week. :mad: Is it possible to go buy one from futureshop and return the sealed box from Dell when it arrives? Do all the places (futureshop, bb, ebgame, dell...etc) all have the same barcode for scanning at the cashier?)
