To me, the best backup the franchise has ever had is Kay Whitmore. Bob Essensa (who was really a 1A) is a close second.

With that said, if Luongo goes down a game or two in the playoffs, Raycroft is good enougn to steal one for us.

Steve Bernier - had successful sports hernia surgery today and will be out 4-6 weeks.

carolina hurricanes are making their last push for a playoff spot, but I doubt they will even make it to 10th or better.
