Detroit will take over 5th pretty easily, they r 2 points behind the Preds for 5th with 2 games in hand.

1. Blackhawks vs 8. Avalanche

2. Sharks vs 7. Predators

3. Canucks vs 6. Kings

4. Coyotes vs 5. Red Wings

Don't bother trying to figure it out.. Last season Anaheim was one shootout goal away from taking 6th and playing us in 1st round...

I'm still pretty hesitant with Mitchell's ability right about a long injury. Maybe not use him in the pk and pp for now..??

Friday or Saturday, whenever that Flames/Aves game will occur is going to be intense

He doesn't play the PP so thats fine. I'm sure they'll ease him in, usually anyways. But good to hear though.

I can't believe COL has free fallen so bad, fighting for their playoff lives now.

Mitchell is a key asset, he will be missed, but as of now, our PK hasnt suffered much, and SOB has stepped it up to fill the void, even though he isn't playing.

He has on occasions this season fallen asleep during some games tho. The great thing with the team this year is that someone will step up and cover mistakes. Its great!

Lets hope he's back in time come playoff time!

As for Colorado, the inexperience during clutch times going into post season has them suffering a bit. Its going to be interesting watching the Flames and Aves battle for that 8th spot.

As canucks fans, we should be glad that we can look forward to winning the division, EARLY and focusing on the playoff drive. Its something that I dont believe I have seen in my 15 years of watching the canucks!
